Garfield Bagel and Grill — Restaurant in Garfield

Was really hungry. First time walking in this place, but I was in a rush. It was empty. Didn't look like they had any hot food left, but wasn't sure because they closed in 1:10min. There was a woman behind the counter cleaning something. I said hello, but guess she didn't hear me. I walked up closer to her and said hello a couple times. So I figured she just really needed to finish whatever it was. I waited a couple more minutes , she took a quick glance then walked in the back. I walked towards the back, and said hello much louder to make it known. Still nothing after a few minutes. So I just walked out.

Idk. Place doesn't seem to have much business at all. Who knows.

Edit: the restaurant has left a response. I will address that here. I wanted to clarify, I did not go into the back sticking my head in to say hello. I walked "towards the back", as I stated. I walked roughly 70% of the way towards the back. I don't understand why you want to argue this. I didn't want to alarm the woman by going too close to the employee area if she did not hear me walk in. Especially if she was alone. However, I did hear another person back there moving around separate from the direction she turned. Who knows.

The issue with the woman not hearing me was due to vents as you stated so maybe I didn't speak loud enough directly and maybe your security camera didn't hear...

Working in this area for a few months and garfield bagel hands down is the best breakfast spot in this whole area. We ordered consistently every day for a few weeks. Nicest lady in here cooking anything you like. Try the meat pies and her spanikopita made with her homemade filo dough. Really enjoyed ordering from here and will be back again...

Great selection of bagels, fresh even after 3pm and they do serve them hot if you prefer. Their cold cuts are prepared on the spot, I enjoyed the pastrami and turkey. They also have homemade egg salad and tuna salad. Tuna salad was on point: right balance of ingredients: lots of tuna, proper amount of mayo and not too salty. Great...
