Ebeneezer's — Restaurant in Garland

HORRIBLE!! community bar where you can smoke inside (which I liked), then ppl smoke crack on the side with the slot machines. Never seen any food there. I was asked to leave by the owner after I won on one of those machines. He threw me two $5's and told the bar maids not to serve me. I did nothing wrong and he told me to get out. I couldn't figure out if it was because I was the only black female in there or because I won more than $10 on that machine!! Terrible.. and the brothers in there didn't say one word.. in fact they told me to just leave! I waited for the cops to come that the owner had supposedly called and they never came. I WILL NEVER EVER NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND I HOPE THAT PLACE BURNS DOWN!! I learned that I don't belong in a place like that...

I don’t think I have ever met a ruder person who owns an establishment. He needs to learn some people skills. I will never visit this bar again and I would definitely not recommend this place. When I called to check the hours the girl on the phone was rude and the owner is even worse. Went in to talk about a charity event we wanted the bar to get involved in and he threatened to call the police on me kicked me out of the entire building. He wouldn’t even let me get three words out when we had an appointment set with the manager in advance to come talk about it. I am discussed at the way he treated me. There is a better way to talk to people. I have one star because it would not let...

It's a great neighborhood bar that I've always visited quite frequent because of the comfortability that I get from Eb's. I think you should drop in to experience my meaning. Happy hour works best. Tell Terry ( he owns the joint) that Greg Wichman said you're welcome to free cocktails from 4-7 pm. Enjoy. Just joking. But the place was comfortable and air conditioning was apparently. In addition, Terry has a new entertainment feature that is a wall unit. It's known as the "fish game". It's for entertainment only of course. Ya gotta drop by Eb's.
