I called 2 weeks before to reserve a table for my bday for a Sat but when I found out weather was supposed to be bad I called and changed it to the day before (Friday). When the day came to go, I called up there and told them I'm running a little late and gave them my name, they didn't have a table reserved in my name!!! They said they would go ahead and reserve one. Ok so I let that slide. We got there and had to search for our table because they had 2 different areas with reserved tables. One area had someone's name on it and then they had another area that just said reserved with no name. I asked 2 different waitresses if this was table for me and they said "I don't know, let me check" NEVER CAME BACK TO TELL ME, SO WE SAT THERE.We waited forever before we were waited on.We requested some pitchers of water and cups. It took about an hr to get that. Then we asked them to bring menus , took about 30 mins to get that. Then again it took a long time for them to come over and take our order. Waited another hr or so for food. They brought the food out and the burger and fries were COLD and I got an appetizer plate with jalapeño poppers, mozzarella stick, fries and fried pickles and it was cold as well. Jalapeño poppers were not cooked all the way through because the cheese in middle was not melted. The DJ got there and set up and he sucked!!! There was no karaoke, which I was wanting to sing but forget that!!! My husband and I got a drink...my husband's drink was an incredible hulk...the drink wasn't even a full glass and it was $10! I ordered some nachos but they were cold as well....they "warmed" them up but were only luke warm. The waitress we never saw again. We wanted more drinks, but we decided after waiting forever we were going to leave and so I went to bar to get my dl and close my tab and it took forever AGAIN for a bartender to come wait on me. I was trying to get their attention but the music was so loud they couldn't hear me and by this time I was pissed from the crappy service and nasty food. The waitress that waited on my table finally came over and I told her I needed my bill and dl. She was gone for at least 20 mins and I finally spotted her on the other side of bar talking to some guy. It took another 20 mins to get another bartender's attention for her to tell me to go on other side to cash out where register was. They should have told me this in the first place!! Worst bday ever!!! I will not be back!!!! I used to go to Scooters about 5-6 years ago and their food and service was much better then........ SCOOTERS DO BETTER.....I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN...I SPENT $55 FOR A DISSAPOINTMENT ON MY BDAY OF ALL DAYS!! I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I HAD TO OR I WOULDN'T...
Read moreBeen here many times in the past 15 years. The wings were really good. The gentlemen that owns the pro shop is very friendly and helpful. I understand that it is during a pandemic, so of course there were 2 ladies working foh alone. But, they were in no hurry at all to get you taken care of. We were there from 5pm - 2am with 3 tabs going of food & drinks. I spent $20 on the jukebox app alone. The sound system was practically nonexistent where the dartboards are set up. The 1 younger lady did not know how to make the mixed drinks I and others in my group asked for, a margarita, for instance. Another instances they were both sitting out from behind the bar looking at their phones. My friend went to order drinks from them & it took the gal a good 3 minutes before she decided to get up and make the drinks. We also had a problem with the pool table when we switched from darts. All the balls weren't coming out. It happened twice. Same young lady seemed to be put out by us disturbing her about it. Despite all that, I put a 20% tip on the tab. Times are tough! But that gal needs to take care of customers if she wants to be taken care of. I hope management is...
Read moreI recently visited Scooters and had a pretty disappointing experience. First off, when I parked and was backing up my car, the guy in the car next to me—who was there for the same place—started directing me not to park too close to his car. I found that passive-aggressive behavior really unnecessary and off-putting.
As for the atmosphere, I was surprised to see how some people dressed for the place. It wasn't the fancy attire you'd expect; instead, it was a lot of skin, lace, fishnet, and hoop earrings—definitely not my style.
Once inside, we encountered another issue: everyone seemed to be hogging the pool tables, making it hard to even enjoy ourselves. To top it all off, the smell in there was unbearable—it felt like a trash can of cigarettes! It was hard to relax when everyone was staring at us like we didn’t belong.
I left feeling out of place; sorry, but I don't dress like I walk the streets. Overall, I won’t be returning...
