A Hidden Gem of Authentic Turkish Flavor!

Noorsha Turkish Cafe & Catering in Garland is truly a treasure. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the aroma of freshly baked simit and phyllo pastries, and the warm hospitality of the owners — it feels like visiting a Turkish neighborhood cafe.

Reasons we keep coming back: • Fresh, authentic pastries: The börek—whether filled with meat, spinach, cheese, or potato—is crisp, savory, and absolutely irresistible. One customer called it “hands down best börek” available. • Delightful breakfast & simit: Perfect for breakfast, with a lovely assortment of simit, cheese, olives, and tea—a breakfast that feels both homey and special. • Friendly, family-run atmosphere: The staff go above and beyond, offering warm service and a welcoming vibe. Reviews mention the “ladies…super kind” and commend the clean, family-friendly space. • Exceptional catering: Whether it’s weddings, events, or gatherings, their spreads impress with beautiful presentation and delicious cuisine. WeddingWire reviews praise their hot, flavorful dishes and professionalism—5/5 ratings all around.

Overall: Noorsha Cafe & Catering delivers mouthwatering Turkish dishes made with love, whether you’re picking up bakery treats, enjoying a cozy breakfast, or planning a catered event. It’s a little slice of Turkey right here in Garland—highly recommended to anyone craving genuine, warm, and incredibly...

Bizi Kovdular!

They Kicked Us Out! March 30 Sunday, 2025, on the first day of Eid, my family and guests (6 men, 3 women, and 3 children) went to a restaurant we frequently visit for breakfast. Despite the crowd, we waited patiently. At one point, my cousin decided to order a bit more. However, the owner (man) suddenly turned to him and said, “You left a bad review here before. Get out!”

We were all shocked when my cousin told us what had happened. Should a restaurant kick out a customer just because of a past review? Or should they try to win them back? We decided to ask the owner directly if this was true. Without even looking at us properly, he coldly replied, “Yes!” We responded, “Then we’ll leave.” To which he answered, “Yes, you all should go!”

It was clear that he had been holding onto his anger for a long time and chose this moment to unleash it. Sure, a bad review might upset a business owner, but is the solution really to throw out an entire family, including children, on a holiday? If you run a business, you must accept that there will be both positive and negative feedback.

This was the first time I’ve experienced something like this in the U.S. Treating a family and their guests this way on Eid is simply not good business practice. Running a restaurant isn’t just about cooking food—it’s about respect, professionalism, and how you treat your customers. They advertise their food as “Like Moms hands.” But instead of a moms hand, we were met with the owner’s anger, like a slap to the face. It was rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. If you ever consider going to this restaurant, be warned—you might be kicked out just for leaving a review. Because here, it’s not the dough, the meat, or the food that matters. If there’s no respect or business ethics, nothing else has value. Honestly, they should rename this place “The Angry Man’s Diner,” because that’s exactly what...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Noorsha Cafe & Catering in Garland, Texas. I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were eager to help me choose the perfect breakfast.

I decided to try a few of the Turkish specialties on the menu. I started with the cheese borek, which was a flaky pastry filled with creamy cheese. It was absolutely delicious! I also tried the Ayvalik Tost, which is a Turkish specialty for breakfast. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were flavorful and fresh.

It was the perfect way to start my day!

I finished my meal with a cup of Turkish coffee. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and it was the perfect way to end my meal.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Noorsha Cafe & Catering. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of Turkey in Garland.

I cam here twice so far, once for Eid and the other for pick up. First thing I can say is that the women are exceptionally hard workers and deserve much love for their efforts. They deliver the MOST authentic Turkish cuisine in Dallas by a wide margin. I especially recommend getting Lahmacun or Pide (my personal favorites). They are very close or just as good as the ones from Turkey and give me a sense of nostalgia for one of my most visited countries. They quite literally brought the cuisine to us via the before-mentioned workers who have likely been cooking for years back home before this restaurant was even here. Overall 10/10 everyone is friendly, the owner/manager is charismatic and well-intentioned. I recommend it to EVERYONE. Do note that this restaurant usually specializes in serving Turkish Breakfast and lunch items.

i recently had the pleasure of breakfast at this traditional Turkish restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I can't say enough about the beautiful breakfast spread. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate, offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that truly capture the essence of a traditional Turkish morning meal. The delicious puff pastries were a definite highlight—flaky, buttery, and perfectly cooked. They paired wonderfully with the hot Middle Eastern tea, which was robust and a perfect complement to the meal. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit. If you're looking for an authentic and satisfying taste of Turkish cuisine, especially for breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!
