Last week I visited the store. No one ahead of me, and only car in the drive-thru. Ordered one of my "go-to's", a venti blonde white mocha. It took 5 minutes to get my drink, and once I started drinking it on the way home, realized it was terrible tasting. It got dumped out barely half drank.
Then today, I was second car in the drive-thru. I decided on my other go-to....macha green tea frappe (the reward that ended today was 20 stars for ordering that drink). Only one car ahead of me, and it still took 10 minutes. To make things worse, they tried to give me a regular mocha frappe...something I haven't drank in a dozen years or so. So, after getting the drink correct and I go on my way back to work, I had a suspicion and checked what I was charged for. Yup...a mocha frappe. Spent the money, and still got screwed out of my stars!!!
This store has steadily gone down hill. I may be wrong, but I don't think they ever re-opened inside seating after the covid days. They would be the only Starbucks that I know of, if that's the case. Probably because of the homeless population Garland has gathered.

Read moreNever have I ever been treated rudely at any Starbucks franchise in my life until I came to this particular one. I understand that they were a little understaffed at the moment, but there was hardly any consumers inside, most of them were going through the drive through. I ordered a tall caramel macchiato & the barista that took my order labeled it correctly but I guess it wasn't legible to the barista making the drinks. They made me a chai latte instead. When I noticed that it wasn't the right drink, I politely brought up to their attention & the barista said, "Oh, I thought it was already mixed." I reminded her that she had called out that it was a chai latte. Instead of apologizing & just taking accountability, they just looked at me like I was crazy & just said okay & re-made it. I work in customer service & it's not hard to take accountability in messing up & saying, "Oh, we're sorry & we'll fix it right away." It's not like I was asking for a freebie or a bigger size. My husband & I are never coming back to this location ever again. I just hope they don't treat other consumers this way. & another thing, it wouldn't kill you to...
Read moreI came in during the early afternoon around 2:00pm. The barista staff were very friendly and the service was fast. Business was very slow at the time of my visit though so that definitely helped wait time. The manager however didn't seem like he wanted to be there and wasn't friendly at all.
It is a bit difficult to get in coming directly off the 635 Service Rd but this isn't their fault since the city are the ones doing the construction. I recommend going through the Motel 6 parking lot a bit further down the 635 Service Rd to avoid the elevation and any potential damage to your car.
There are no table is the lobby since the store is very small. There is also no wifi so you can't sit down and relax like at most locations.
