The custom Mushroom 🍄 cake completely EXCEEDED my expectation 😊 Not only did it look PHENOMENAL, it was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!!! Everyone were amazed of how it it looked and loved the taste of the cake!! Sweet Murphy’s saved the day!! I live 4 hours south of Richardson/Dallas and we were going to spend a weekend in the area for my daughter’s Sweet 16. I had been busy w/work, life & getting things ready for the party and realized that I had forgotten to order a cake in the Richardson area 😳 I quickly searched for bakery’s and people that made custom cakes in that area and sent emails and FB messages. Some said they couldn’t make that kind of cake while others said they couldn’t due to time. Sweet Murphy’s responded that she had never made a Mushroom cake before and she wanted to make it if I still wanted her to. She sent me a quote with all the cake flavors, icing flavors and filling flavors. She is very professional, accommodating and has very reasonable pricing. We had only communicated through FB messenger and when I went to pick up the cake, she is a COMPLETE sweetheart!! Pros: The customer service was awesome. The cake was ready and completed on time. The cake was absolutely beautiful.

Cons: The two cons I have are: I was a little skeptical about the payment transaction, which could only be completed through Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo. With so many scams going on, I was hesitant to complete the transaction. However, since the cake was $130, I figured I wouldn’t lose too much if it was a scam. The second con is the cake was beautiful, but the taste of the cake didn’t match the beauty of the cake. This is why I can’t give 5 stars. Our cake taste like a sheet cake from Walmart, which we are not very fond of. I order three different flavors, red velvet, almond, and strawberry. I couldn’t taste any of those flavors. It was so great working with sweet Murphy’s! It was my first time ordering custom Cookies and I needed it within 10 days. Sweet Murphys was so quick to respond and follow up with my cookie request. She asked appropriate questions in regards to colors / design and even followed up later to ask for a color swatch to make sure the colors matched for the baby shower! I literally had no clue that there were all these things to consider. Working with sweet murphys made it simple for me. She was very responsive and organized. Also I lllllooove the fact that she had a sticker that was a checklist of the different common allergists- whether it did or did not contain them or shared the same equipment .
