First time here and will definitely be back. I ordered Trompo, Tripa, and Carnitas for the tacos. I enjoyed my tacos, but I wished the salsa verde was spicy. It also came with cilantro, raw onions, grilled onions, and a grilled jalapeño pepper. My tacos, I rate them a 4.5/5. I only wish the salsa was spicier. My wife ordered Chimichanga with Trompo meat. The chimichanga was very crunchy on the outside and generously stuffed, but the sliced cheese was leaving much to be desired. She was thinking it would've been sprinkled with crumbly queso instead of sliced American cheese. She rated it 4.5/5. We didn't dine in, but being inside, I wouldn't consider dining in. You'll be at a booth in a gas station. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. Overall experience was a 4/5. I would recommend this place for its...
Read moreDon’t let the fact that this is a gas station taqueria fool you! The food that I got was incredible!
The takeout order was virtually contactless, which I loved during this pandemic.
I ordered 3 Trompo Tacos, 2 Barbacoa Tacos, and 1 Carnita. The Trompo was some of the best I had! And they do NOT skimp on the onions and cilantro, which made it better! I had plenty for all 6 tacos! One thing that disappointed me was that they only gave me 2 sauces (1 of each) for 6 tacos. I’d like a little more in the future, but thats the only critique I have!
I also wish they had a section for drinks when ordering takeout on Yelp! I would have loved a Jarritos too!
I’d love to come back and try some more! Their quesadillas and their...
Read moreThis taqueria is in an Exxon gas station. Don’t expect fine dining. No frills but the food was excellent. Opted for breakfast tacos- chorizo, potatoes, bacon, frijoles- all delicious. All freshly made to order and come with red and green salsa picante- very tasty. Breakfast Tacos were about $2.50/each as of May 2024. Customer service and level of friendliness leaves a bit to be desired but like I said, it’s a gas station taqueria, not a 5-star restaurant experience. Cook was talking on his cell phone while he made the food. Was it appropriate? No. Were the tacos...
