TX Donuts is not just a donut shop—it’s a glorious temple of fried dough where the coffee flows like a mighty river, and the scent of warm glaze clings to your soul like a long-lost lover. From the moment you step inside, you are bathed in the divine glow of powdered sugar and deep-fried perfection.

I ordered a dozen assorted, and let me tell you—each donut was a masterpiece. The chocolate glaze had a sheen so perfect it could make a mirror jealous. The old-fashioned donut? Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside—like biting into a cloud that’s been to culinary school. And the maple bacon bar? A transcendental experience that made me briefly understand the meaning of life.

But then—the great dispute began.

A man at the counter dared to call the colorful bits of sugary delight on his donut “jimmies.” The cashier, a woman who clearly took donut terminology seriously, fixed him with a stare that could melt a Boston cream filling.

“Sir,” she said, voice steady, “this is TX Donuts. We call them sprinkles here.”

The shop fell silent. The fryer hissed in the background, whispering secrets of dough to hot oil.

The man considered his options. He could argue, but he knew—deep down—you don’t challenge the authority of a donut shop employee who’s been rolling dough since before you could hold a cruller.

He nodded. “Sprinkles,” he conceded.

Balance was restored. The donuts remained divine. I left TX Donuts with a full stomach, a happy heart, and the knowledge that this was a place where tradition, excellence, and donut law...

I was going to wait to put in a review since I wanted to try out a variety of their drinks. This is officially my new favorite donut shop omg. The donuts and kolachies are always fresh and yummy but where they stand out is their drinks! So far Ive had a caramel frappe (which is very similar to the McDonald’s frappe), an iced mocha (very much like a chocolate milk), and a caramel coffee with boba (the boba surprised me! Not too bad!). The cups are also very big so I’m glad I’m getting my moneys worth. Looking forward to trying more items in the future! Oh and it’s super convenient being right next to the highway. Fast and kind service, hope yall...

Love this new shop!! The boudin & jalapeño kolaches are the best around & those are what we usually will come in for, tried a few others so I could share….cronuts are very yummy, the HUGE apple fritters crispy and delish, Bavarian or the chocolate cream filled- YES!! The kids loved the cereal donuts-Everything was fresh and so good!!! I didn’t order the croissants but I will they are actual full size sandwiches unlike you know where across the street…super friendly, open everyday, great...
