Cellar Door Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Garrettsville

I stumbled upon this hidden gem over the weekend. I absolutely fell in love with this place. I’m pretty sure it’s the place that the locals go for coffee. It was a little busy but not much of a wait to place my order. The staff was great, I had a few questions and the food, coffee and even the cookies. They answered everything I asked happily & pleasantly. I got a panini style breakfast sandwich, a big chocolate chip cookie & a the Buckeye Block cappuccino. I got a table tent order number and went to find a table. I discovered there was the 1st floor, but also a basement. I found a table on the 1st floor and awaited my food & drink. Your seating options are tables only, but I’m a big table fan already. My server was out with my order pretty quickly, she was polite & pleasant making sure I had everything I needed. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, bacon egg & cheese prepared in a panini style. Naturally the big chocolate chip was perfectly tasty. The Buckeye Block is a cappuccino with a peanut butter flavor, it was simply delicious. I walked around the Cafè enjoying the little nuances & decorations. I did explore the basement & I loved it very cozy, I wish I would have sat down there. Next time I go, for sure I’ll sit in the basement. I really enjoyed my morning here & will be back for my coffee & food. I strongly recommend this place...

Went here to meet some people for business. Upon entering I was stared at by everyone in the place because of the poor entryway design. Then the worker and presumably his two friends leaning on the counter chatting it away looked at me as if I was from Mars. When asked if I wanted something I explained I was just here to meet someone, this apparently offended him as he gave a sheepish "okay?", and amused his friends as they mumbled something under their breath and snickered. I love this place very much. Every time I get my car serviced at Charles Auto Family, I want to stop by. Perfect place to get some work done or have a conversation with someone over food and/or coffee. There are games to play and books to read. The music is awesome. This is simply a great place with friendly people and extraordinary, cozy decor. The architecture of the space offers great amounts of light and a nice view of the village.
