B&K Rootbeer — Restaurant in Gas City

It was my first time here, and I loved it! The place is an old school drive in where the servers come out to your car, take an order, and bring your food out to you. The drinks are in big glass mugs.

Tonight, I got a breaded tenderloin sandwich and cheesy tator tots. The meal was great. The young lady who helped me out was really nice. I'm happy I stopped by here and will return. The tenderloin sandwich was huge, and both the sandwich and tator tots tasted great! Just to let you know, this location is cash only, so bring cash.

Arrived at 1215pm. Ordered 3 Spanish dogs, a small fry, half gallon of root beer? Small root beer and 6 sides of Spanish sauce because apparently this is the ONLY root beer stand who doesn’t sell the sauce by the cup! Waited and waited and at 1242 my food arrived no Spanish dogs so waited 30 min for a fry and root beer. Then the car hop wanted to argue that I never ordered them! I replied with well pretty sure I did was the entire reason for coming it’s lunch for my child and myself. Refused to add them to the order until I cashed out lol. Poor service poor communication...

The Indian dogs tasted great. they would have been better with more cheese. As it was, they were upside down in the container, and all the cheese was off the dogs. The cauliflower was on point, but the mushrooms were under cooked and gooey in the inside of the breading. The fries weren't that great, but the tots were a little better. The tenderloin sandwich was a good big 'ol Indiana loin! All in all, we will try it again...
