Pizza King & Boomtown Donuts of Gas City, IN — Restaurant in Gas City

It had been years since we went here to eat. It was so good on our last visit. It has since sold and is now a Pizza and Donut Shop. Which is great because you can get dinner and your dessert or breakfast.

I was hoping for a good ole apple fritter but she said they didn't get any in that day and they never know what they will get in depends on what bakery it is delivering from.

The pizza, definitely not like we remember. We love the thin crust most Pizza King's serve up. This was a thicker fluffy kinda crust so needless to say very disappointed. The salad was good, but the leaves were big on the lettuce part.

We ordered the All Meats and Hawaiian pizza, two orders of bread sticks, a salad and drinks. The bread sticks were just that nothing exciting and very disappointing that it was cold cheese served with it. We also got their dozen donuts and 2 dozen donut hole special. Plus a dozen mixed with the special pumpkin spice and apple spice donut holes. Nothing overly special about the donuts.

Well after reading the reviews I was scared to try it, but I went ahead with it anyways as I didn't have many options and I must say the pizza is great! All these bad reviews maybe they don't understand that every restaurant has it's good days and bad days, I ordered extra cheese and it was fantastic. The garlic sauce on the side was great also. To those that say "hartford city is the best" yes they are delicious also and yes their breadsticks are the homemade fancy kind, but my last pizza from Hartford was nowhere near as great as this one from Gas City, and I've got a household of 4 who all agree so it just goes to show every place makes mistakes. This is Very disappointing! Moved from Hartford City where the Pizza King there is a 10++ , ordered Royal Feast from Gas City PK an it is NOTHING like the Best pizza from Hartford. I'll drive over to get what is suppose to be a Royal Feast, not a flat tasteless, no sauce, one tablespoon of cheese an bread sticks that are Not true Pizza King bread sticks are suppose to be.
