Hardee's — Restaurant in Gastonia

We were in this location during the day the 1st time. There were three associates working. The young man behind the counter was polite and the store was Slightly busy but needs to be cleaned. Visable dirty floors and apparently short staffed .Our food was good on this occasion. But 10/13 my husband came through the drive thru at 7:00p.m. He ordered 2 hamburgers which were $10.98 and he ordered a 10 piece Buffalo strip which was $10.99. He went thru the drive thru. When he got home Our burgers were sloppy ,cold and big hunks of onion ( not slices) and the meat was hard .The chicken strips only had five actual strips of chicken about 3 inches long and five pieces of " breading" not even an inch and a half long and were as hard as a rock! I don't know if someone called in sick or what happened but when I tried to call the store to speak to a Manager no one would answer the phone and it goes to a recording that says it's unable to take a message because the mail box hasn't been set up yet. We want a full refund and I will be calling Corporate to report this incident. This store was not well stocked at the beverage center the afternoon we went in and needs serious cleaning. However the young man at the counter was polite and trying very hard to get orders out he seemed frustrated. We thanked him for coming into work that day as it was on a Sunday around 2p.m. I also will be calling the Health Department to check this place out. I don't think they are" breaking the soda machines down and cleaning the " heads" . It's hard to get and keep good help when the ones who are worth keeping aren't...

Do not even atempt please... I never complain. I'm always inderstanding. I'm very patient. I never fuss or argue. I never leave a bad review even on the most ridiculous things... but this was just horrible.. an online order 15 mins before i arrived, told drive thru and was told to park, waited 35 mins went in waited 15 more to even be asked, order wasn't even started yet, waited 15 more over an hour at this point was missing half my order and what I had was wrong, waited almost 20 more for it to be fixed. I was one of 6 waiting inside when I went in 3 others orders were wrong and they were simple like 1 combo meal orders. Watched atleady 30 cars easily get their food through the drive thru. Watched a lady pull up and park immediately get her order and leave after I'd been parked 35 mins. Every order we've had this year from here has been late and missing items. We decided to do pick up instead of delivery and it was even worse. Just save your time please. People were walking slowly laying things random. Guy took a sausage patty put of a guys wrong order laid it on the counter in the back fixed his order and reused the patty... one lady messed up a bacon egg and cheese saying a ham and egg. They were purposely only doing drive thru orders and the inside lady was in the bathroom 15 minutes or longer not making any of the inside orders. Then when she returned went slower than I've ever seen anyone move even my 96 yr old grandma. Just not...

If I could leave a negative review I would. Was there this morning for breakfast, got there at 1015 so since dining room was open, we decided to go in so we'd make it in time before breakfast cut off. Bad decision. Waited fifteen minutes to get our order taken. The soda fountain needed to be refilled, the carbonation was off. We waited for over forty minutes on our small order, during which time, the cashier decided she was going to ignore all the customers waiting and deciding to take over packaging orders for drive through and door dash, multiple people left the restaurant. Near the and of our wait, we hear from the cook that our order had been made thirty minutes prior from when the cashier had asked because I voiced our wait time and then it needed to be made again, and the hash browns weren't even fully cooked. Needless to say, I doubt we will come back to this location.

An update: since I posted this review this morning, we've all gotten sick to our stomachs and the food from here was all we've eaten today. Definitely never returning to...
