Los Arcos — Restaurant in Gastonia

Well, here we go... So after 3 weeks of planning to make a trip to the closest location from our house, which is an hour and 10 minutes away, for the lunch buffet on the only day we are off and available for the buffet hours, the disappointment only began with the 90 on the sanitation board. After waiting 5 minutes for our spastic waiter to notice us, we finally got a table.. another 5 minutes later, we decided to take it upon ourselves to make our way to the poorly stocked buffet. At that point, squirrel boy remembered to ask us for our drink order.. again, I had already taken it upon myself to request our drinks from the more competent of the 2 servers.. again. I had to ask her for drinks. Im just glad I wasn't the gentleman at the table across from us. She brought their drinks and chips out to the table, and while they were visiting the buffet, squirrel boy cleared their table... 😂🤣.. The food was fair.. not absolutely horrible, but the disorganization of the waitstaff was about like toddlers directing traffic. We will definitely plan our next trip to los Arcos at one of their...

I give our waitress an A for effort. But management was very unprofessional. I ordered a shrimp taco off the ala carte menu. And was abruptly informed by the manager (not our waitress) that they could not sell a single shrimp taco. Ummm??? Ok... but I could get a beef or chicken single taco. I then ordered a chicken taco. And After the attitude of that particular female manager, I received a BEEF taco. I didn't send it back. I just ate it. I Didn't complain or point it out. However when I got to the check out, the same manager with the piss poor attitude smarted off to me and my brother and friend. I said I wouldn't be back. The waitress was good and friendly and nice. It wasn't her fault... but her manager sabatoged her chance of getting a 25% tip. Do not waste your time or money here. They do NOT CARE about customer service. And the food was mediocre at best. I would give it zero star status, but that was not an option. I will never patronize at this...

I, my mother and niece went to the New Hope Rd. location on Sat Feb 4 2017 about 2:30pm. We were very impressed with the entire experience. The outside architecture was beautiful, especially the doors and fountain. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeting with a charismatic gentleman named Eduardo and seated. He was a joy to be around. He never made us wait for refills on our drinks, food, or the check. My mother and I got the buffet and my niece got chicken tenders. I had a little bit of everything off the bar and everything I ate was delicious. The chicken with queso, broccoli, carrots, peppers onions mushrooms and zucchini was out of this world yummy. We have a Mexican joint in the town we live and the food quality there is dog food compared to Los Arcos. The bill came and we were even more pleasantly surprised to see that it was on $25 and some change. Definitely a new favorite on the Mexican...
