Do yourself a favor and pass this joint! THIS PLACE IS A DUMP! Roaches by the doorway. Tables and dishes were dirty. Out of 4 preset coffee cups and saucers setting on the table, only one was clean enough to drink from. Most had bits of dried scrambled eggs on them. I requested a rag to wipe the table clean because the table had syrup on crumbs. The waitress called the bus boy to wipe the table and he only cleaned 1/4 of it. I ordered the two wet soft scrambled eggs, porkchops with home fries & toast. I immediately notice the eggs were overcooked so the waitress had the cooks make me some more. So I tasted the home fries. Cold. My porkchop was burnt underneath and was like chewing on jerky. My toast was cold too. The waitress brought out any replacement I needed but as we sat eating, we noticed everyone around us complaining about the same issues. I watched the long haired hostess in the light purple tshirt "dust off" a dirty table as she sat another couple to the dirty table. How this place passed sanitation inspection beats me. How they stay in business with using 2x their inventory by recooking everyone's order beats me. The lady who took our money didn't even ask how we liked our food because I would have shared my comments. Gordon Ramsey needs wear his disguise and visit this dump! Will NEVER go back. We have been coming at least once a month for almost two years. We even bring our family from out of town anytime they come. We went today and as we finished eating my aunt saw a bug SWIMMING in her coffee. We told the waitress who said “oh, it’s just a gnat.” Took the cup, put it to the side, and asked if we wanted another one. We told her no. We noticed there were the same bugs on the napkins so we got up and went to pay. My aunt is telling the lady at the register and she shrugged her shoulders and looked unbothered. I explained how we wished someone had some feeling toward what we are telling them and she stated “well I’m not the manager so I am not sure what you want me to say.” We asked for a manager and we heard her say “do they want me to take something off the meal?” So she walked over, we explain how upset we are with the service after we told them about the bugs on our table and in our coffee. Her response was “I didn’t know what happened but I can tell the owner to do something about them. Do you want something taken off your bill?” We just wanted someone to acknowledge what was happening instead of acting like bugs on our table and in our coffee was no big deal. I am changing my review to a 1 star and here is why: Number one nasty, the place is nasty and sticky and greasy. Nats and flies landing around you and you can just smell the funk on the seats. Also sanitation is bad, tried to ask what it was over the phone and when they said 92... Something they rudely just hung up. Number two, I understand that times are tough and staff is short but no excuse to a nasty restaurant especially when the waitresses try and use that every time you ask for the table not to feel sticky Number three. The kitchen looks horrible. You walk in and its nasty looking. All over the place. No ones really keeping a good sanitation on the cooks and as a cook myself who's worked in restaurants wiping your sweaty head and whisking eggs while sweat drips is a no. I like salt but not like that. And lastly they are rude. Some people are very sweet, but when you do try to be nice or ask a question its a snappy response. I have worked my fair share of 15 hour days in the kitchen and I don't see that as a reason to be rude. Overall, nasty and yes the food is decent but the establishment and nastiness of it is not worth...
