Thank you Manager Melissa of Taco Bell at 2125 N. Cheater St. Gastonia, NC for showing what pure complacency truly looks like in full bodily form. Got the food wrong, we returned after going all the way home first, asked for her to fix the meal and thought maybe just maybe theyd be curteous enough since they made the mistake to remake the whole order since it was already getting cold. She decided to patronize and mock us. Saying she couldnt do that.
We then asked for a refund and she said we'd need the whole order, which we had, she then said "oh... the drinks too then" fine i gave those too. We recieved the refund and a refusal to even take another order from us.
Like understand anyone who knows me knows how out of my way I go for those in the service industry. My pregnant fiance had a set craving wlthat we tried to fullfill? And then you mockingly call out every single item and checking it as you processed the refund getting louder and louder as to try and embarass us. The disgusting looks given the entire time and trying to blame it on us. And when i finally did something Ive never done, ask for a corporate number or their boss then say "oh I dont know, i dont know. Ill leave a note tho to let him know youre harassing us"
All because i was asking hownit made sense that you couldnt remake the food... but had no problem giving a full refund back and then throwing it all away.. what kind of buisness sense does that make? Did that really save you money Melissa?
Im so terribly sorry we made you get up from lounging in the lobby while your employees worked, we could all se how comfortable you were just lounged out. But the entire interaction was a waste of time, you were of no help, you made it clear you found it highly inconvenient to even come to the window when your worker had to yell for you after you knew we were coming around the window to begin with.
Thanks for everything, i truly hope the franchise owners of the Taco Bell of N Cheater St know how great of an asset you are to them. You truly saved them so much money with the refund and the pure unprofessional standard you set for your store.
I hope someone trains you cause in asking for basic information you sure didnt know much...
Read moreThe final product was to be expected but the main issue was that I walked in with my two children and we waited 12 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were standing there. However, another gentleman walked in and stepped right in front of us and they came right up to ask what he needed and then gave him a cup for a drink and still didn't acknowledge us, even after I clearly stated that we were waiting in line to place our order. They obviously give the drive-thru priority which is the reason I went inside because the line was so long. Every single vehicle that was in line had gone through and then some, before they even acknowledged us. Someone yelled out, "she'll be with you in a minute!" After waiting over 15 minutes just to place an order, I use the kiosk and a lady came to the front just to take my money. I asked if we had to always use the kiosk if we came inside or could we place an order with a person and she just handed me the change and walked away. Maybe they were short staffed, but that just leaves me guessing. They should have at least acknowledged that we were waiting and should give priority to the people walking in especially when no one else was in the entire restaurant. Extremely poor customer service and mediocre food. I won't be back. Normally I would have been more vocal and gotten their attention sooner and asked questions such as, is this standard to leave the customer waiting this long, while only servicing the drive-thru? But I was actually curious and I had a few minutes extra to wait so, there you have it. It was disappointing especially since this Taco Bell is a convenient location for us. I understand the food service industry but I'm also well versed in customer service. If you're having a tough day or short staffed, you just let the customer know. You don't ignore them and then literally the only thing said to me was someone will be with you in a minute and the amount of food....
Read moreI can remember when a Chalupa combo was $6 and you didn't have to wonder whether your food was going to be hot & fresh & delicious. Those days are long gone. Now a Taco Bell receipt for 2 is at a premium price for sub quality food. It's 50-50 for your food to be hot and freshly made. And I don't care what they say about that. I know Taco Bell used to serve their food the way I remember it because I went through the drive through kn my way to work 5 days a week every week and mu Chaluoa combo was ALWAYS hot and freshly made. After this last experience with them we will never ear at Taco Bell again. My food was cols, the Chalupa bread was cold and hard. There was hardly any ingredients inside to speak of. When I returned it to the counter and said this food is cold and I would like it freshly prepared and hot. The girl who was making the food came out and said she just made those, in essence, calling me a liar. The manager brought my new order to our table and I thanked her after I saw it was hot. But as I said, no beef to speak of, or anything else for that matter. With their prices being where they are we can no longer justify eating at Taco Bell when we can eat a ribeye sreak at Longhorn for just a few bucks more and get excellent food the first time and every time. Taco Bell will learn not to screw over their customer base or thet will eventually go out if business after all of their customers stop eating...
