So..... I forget how bad this Wendy's off 321 is and stop in and get reminded all over again. Either they don't want to serve/take orders, don't have certain menu items or they're just poor at customer service.
Today's experience: was in line. Car in front of me was waiting.... waiting and waiting. They finally pull off in frustration. I pull up. Roll my window down, get a nice pungent smell of weed/marijuana and finally the girls, sitting on the side of the building say "sorry, but we're not taking orders." Seriously!? This is a constant problem at this Wendy's restaurant off 321. I am never eating there again. This time, I've made up my mind, I'll make a conscience effort to make sure I do not patron that establishment in particular. I'm sorry, you're wasting my time. You're also breaking the law by smoking weed in a public setting. I guess Wendy's corporate doesn't moderate their online reviews, or care that they are losing business. Gen Z is so lazy and covid seems to have made people lazy when dealing with the workforce and fast food in general. Believe me, I won't stop there again. I also called corporate and got the song and dance. I'm sure they'll do nothing except raise prices and that's cool... I need to start eating at home even when I'm pushed for time. Convenience VS saving money and hassle, I'll take the latter. With attitude, poor service and people who don't act professional.... I'll take my money and yall can eventually go out of business. Read moreThis is the WORST Wendy’s in Gastonia! Last time me and my fiancé went to Wendy’s we waiting 30 minutes to order our food and another 20 minutes waiting!! We was literally in the drive through for an hour. The only reason we stayed because it was late and the only thing close to us that was open considering we had a busy day and that was our first and last meal for the day. Paying $20 for food you expect to be at least a little satisfied! After we got to window and finally got our food NOTHING WAS HOT the fries were cold and unsalted the food was slipped together and just had that horrible smell of grease and like always we didn’t get any straws! The employees are rude I have yet to see one person actually have respect for anyone and it always looked filthy in the store. We tried to eat our food that night being to tired to go back throught that bs but the smell was so awful we couldn’t we both ending up sick that night and that’s rare for us. Last night we tried to give it another try since once again it was late and we just wanted to go home ONCE AGAIN the employees are making customers wait 5-10 minutes apart to order! That’s ridiculous! When we finally got to the speaker the menu wasn’t lit you couldn’t see a thing when you hear the employee rudely say she would attend to us in a moment. Being scared we was gonna wait all the time again for our food to be cold and disgusting we decided to eat somewhere else. Idk what’s going on with this location but at this point I’m not even understanding how employees are still getting paid or how the hell this place is even...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received at your establishment located at 2419 W Franklin Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28052. On three separate occasions, I have attempted to order food within the last hour of operations, only to be ignored or refused service.
In the first instance, I arrived 20 minutes before closing time to place an order, but the staff had already shut down all operations.
In the second instance, I placed a DoorDash order an hour and a half before closing, but the Dasher was forced to cancel my order after the restaurant refused to fulfill it.
In the third instance, which occurred today, I placed my order at 1:40 a.m. and arrived at 1:49 a.m. to pick up my mobile order. Despite waiting at the order screen for several minutes and attempting to get the attention of the staff by honking my horn, I was completely ignored. At exactly 2:02 a.m., an employee finally came to the window, shrugged at me, and then proceeded to shut down the register without providing any explanation or assistance.
I am deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service and professionalism I have experienced at your establishment. I hope that you will take steps to address these issues and ensure that future customers are treated with the respect and courtesy...
