Yamato Express of Gastonia — Restaurant in Gastonia

Went through the drive-through and when I pulled up to the window they seemed already extremely annoyed that I was even there for some reason don’t quite know why. When I asked the lady do they have any kids options she said no and that all they had was sides, when I asked was there anything that I could get that was a small portions she seem to be annoyed with me even asking such a question. When I asked if they used eggs or peanuts as my child is severely allergic they specifically stated no they did not so I ordered a thing of sweet carrots and chicken. When I pulled forward to the second window to wait on my food another lady brought it to me I checked the bag and saw that I got rice instead of carrots so I asked the lady can I please have carrots as that is what I was requesting was carrots. She seem to be upset with me even though I had told the prior lady my order exactly. We got home and of course my son threw up his entire meal due to his egg allergy of which I asked specifically if there was any cross contamination possible. The chicken was extremely dry the steak was so tough it was like chewing on beef jerky I will never ever go here ever again or trust these people with any sort of food allergy information as apparently I am just a nuisance and a bother to them at their own drive-through. I love love the yamato's in Shelby I lived there for 7 years, and ate there as much as I coul! Because I loved it so much! I had no idea that there was a Yamato's down on Franklin boulevard! So I just seen it online and was excited I haven't even ate there yet..So I called and was asking questions like how long have you been there and things like that and the woman on the phone was like why do you ask all these questions and I was just like because I was from Shelby and I ATE THERE ALL THE TIME! I had no idea that y'all were open or how long have you been open and she didn't really say much.. Maybe I misunderstood her and then she was like but we cannot feed nobody right now and I'm thinking she just meant like right now I can't feed nobody because they open at 11:00 and it's 11:00! which I understand that, but I was just calling to ask how long they had been open for! So therefore not only that but I have been reading all these comments and everybody seems to say the food is not as good, and that they are rude! I want to try it out for myself, but I'll say I don't want to get undercooked food or pay top dollar for nasty food.I definitely don't want no rude people serving me so if I can get any feedback and if anybody knows how long this place has been open I would greatly appreciate it...

I went through the drive through. Paid with my card. The girl says my card was declined. I knew that wasn’t right. I immediately called the bank. I gave her another card. Then the bank says my card was NOT. declined. I paid 2 times for my food. I had it pulled up on my phone that shows the amount was paid. I had the receipt from the second card. The owner / manager said my card lie and she was not giving me money back. I stayed there 40 min. They walked off and left me there. The older lady was yelling and fussing with me. I paid $28 2 times. Now I have to file disputes and go through a lot of trouble bc the owner doesn’t care if you pay twice. I never saw where anything said declined besides the little girl at the window saying it was. I will never go here again. If you use a card watch them. They making extra money...
