La Hacienda Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Gatesville

I came to the drive through which is a large screen so I thought it was shut down, I park in their tiny parking lot with my car noticing trucks have difficulties fitting in the spaces. I ordered a beef fajita burrito for the cash price of 5.95, unsure of the credit/debit price which seemed a little high to me. I get the burrito to go after about 20 minutes of waiting and it's skinny, double wrapped in foil. When I bite into the burrito it tastes a little funny, meat is dry. I look and half the meat is burned, the beans they spoke of were only in the bottom inch of the burrito. The tortilla was very flaky as well, seems like they have some quality issues in the kitchen. For the price there are much better options out there, and I've had better food at McDonald's sadly, I'm disappointed in myself for trying them instead of El Tapatio or Rodeo. Food used to be good when it first opened. Now it's becoming a joke. Their "hot sauce" is just a tomato base with some greenstuff in it. I asked for 2 breakfast tacos, chorizo, bacon, egg, and cheese. I got eggs mixed with the smallest amount of chorizo, a little bit of cheese with a stripe of bacon on top, and it wasn't even mixed together. I asked for a hashbrown patty, and it was so bad after one bite from all the grease that I couldn't even eat it. Their coffee was lukewarm and so watered down it barely tasted like coffee. We were there for breakfast, the food was good but the service was terrible, I asked if the coffee was old the answer was “it is what it is, I don’t like coffee so I don’t know “ this was the nicest thing the waitress had to say to us, I’m of the mind of don’t mess with people handling your food, but she continued to be rude, from substituting stuff on our orders to letting her know she brought the wrong food, in her mind/opinion we were not locals and we were not important, anyway unless you don’t have anywhere else to eat, go true the drive true and avoid the hassle, even a regular at the restaurant complain to his waitress about how rude our waitress was, but they kept making excuses for her, maybe she is someone related to the...
