Stayed here over the course of three months, first two months were great, then this last visit they decided to raise the regular one-time 10$ pet fee to a nightly fee of 10$ during our stay, as well as raise their nightly rate. We were also made to stay upstairs, due to having a cat just because they renovated their bottom rooms recently, which might I add, now have faux wood floors while the upstairs still have carpet. Doesn't seem to make much sense when, even if my pet was capable of making that sort of mess, it would be easier to clean off a wood floor than carpet. Then, when I reserved the room last wednesday, I told the gentleman with a middle eastern accent that was thicker than molasses, that I needed the room Thursday through Monday, and that we would check-out Tuesday. Not only did he hang up on me twice, because he didn't understand the card information, but once we got the card issue resolved, he told me the room was correctly reserved. This was not the case. Today we were charged a $92.00 fee for over-staying and was told by house-keeping before we had to check-out, that we were supposed to have been out of the room already, in short, the guy didn't make the reservation correctly and now we're out an extra $132.00 total. The Roadway Inn was a good home-town motel that seems to have gotten a little big for it's britches. Needless to say, we won't be...
Read moreI'd like to be writing a different review, but I feel first impressions are important, so here we are. To be fair, I never got a chance to personally experience the hotel. I initially booked a reservation for the hotel for a weekend event for 3 days. This decision was made as the rating on Expedia was at the time 3.8. I felt that this was a satisfactory rating. I did however read the negative comments as well as positive to make sure I was making an educated choice that I was okay with. After trying to contact the hotel 9 days before I was scheduled to check in, I was unable to reach anyone there. I made several attempts to call and was eventually greeted with an automated message informing me that no one was able to answer my call, only after waiting several rings first. In my opinion any establishment that struggles to answer a phone call probably has staffing issues that could negatively affect the result of my stay. So, one last try before writing this review and forcing me to commit to a cancelation and re-schedule at a competitor, I made one last attempt to make contact, and as I feared, no answer. If you can't answer a phone call, you probably have much greater issues that I do not have any desire to experience. In attempt to not allow my personal experience to sway others too hastily, I'll rate a 2, but I still feel...
Read moreI wanted to update my review. I stayed here for a couple of nights this week and the manager, Paresh Patel took advantage of me during my bad situation. He even told me that he was going to take advantage of me in my bad situation and kept forcing himself on me! I will never go back to that hotel! I am living in my car and I told him this so the second night he said he would pay for my room and told me please stay. I stayed and he kept touching me and stuff and when I made it very clear that I wanted nothing to do with him because I am married and I love my husband, He got Mad and locked me out! I want something done about this. I am also reporting it to the police! Someone needs to know because he’s going to keep doing it. I’m sure I’m not the first woman that he’s forced himself on! There has probably been many more! Everyone needs to be careful when they stay there because you never know who’s putting cameras in the rooms to watch you. I could be wrong, but I feel like there are cameras in the rooms at Days Inn because Paresh Patel was asking to see tattoos that stay covered up by my clothes and no one can see them unless I show them and I don’t tell many people about certain tattoos that I have yet somehow Paresh Patel knew and wanted to see them! That is very creepy and a HUGE violation of...
