McDonald's — Restaurant in Geneva Township

Listen I thank God for keeping me here on Earth for 51 years. When I tell you I came to this Mac Donald’s back in April of this year around 11:10AM. I only eat QP’s, fries no salt! For health reason, and Caramel frappe. When I tell you the bursas done all the way through, the cheese was actually meted, and the bun was absolutely soft and fresh. My sister got a double fish with extra tartar sauce and it was fresh. I couldn’t believe this! I was in shocked. So I said I’m going to make it my business to go back here at a different time. Well I did! My sister and I came back in June of this year. We came from home in Dekalb, IL. And this time it was around 4:35PM. The same thing happened again fresh sandwiches everything fresh. This time the fries were not fresh! But again same orders and very good fresh sandwiches. So on July 12, 2024. I’m on my way home from Chicago, IL, and I decided to take the street home only because it’s around 8 :27 PM and I want to see if my QP, Fries, and Frappe will be great! And lo and behold. Customer service, food, again for the third time is amazing! The guy with curly hair I don’t know if he is Mexican or not. But he has waited on me each time and my food has been great! 3 different times and they don’t know me and I have never went inside. I have never spent a long time in the drive-thru, even when I have to wait for my fries with no salt. My food has always been hot and good. This is the only Mac Donald’s I have been to in my life at three different times and the food was perfect. Please give these crew members and the manager a raise. Keep up the good work! I'm sorry but after months of giving you "one more chance" I'm finally done. The "Good" reviews here must have been written by family or friends and there is nothing efficient or accurate about this McDonalds. I order 2 drinks nearly every day. These drinks appear on their menu, they are not some crazy special order and yet they make the wrong drinks 4/5 times weekly and then they ask me to pull forward and wait. This review is really a statement to my stupidity for thinking that the error ratio would go down but it hasn't. I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years (it's on the way to work) but the insanity of thinking I'll get my order correct the first time has to stop. Why now? Food is as good as any other McDonalds, but the service end is unfortunately way down at this location. They have self checkout, which is no problem at this point. However when you order dine-in you take a number and are instructed by their kiosk to go to the table and your food will be brought out. Instead, employees will yell the number louder and louder until you come take the food from the pickup point, and will bag it even when you asked for dine-in. Also if you’re standing at the register hoping to order in person you get ignored. If you’re going to make the customer do everything, at least say so, instead of having computers instruct customers that their food will be brought to them.
