🥞Genoa Cafe✨ This hometown diner is located in downtown town Genoa, IL. If you enjoy going to a restaurant where the staff will remember you every time you come back, that is exactly what you will get at The Genoa Cafe. It’s a traditional diner feel with all of the best breakfast and lunch options. Eggs, omelets and a skillets to sandwhiches, burgers and melts. ⏰ Daily 7am-2pm 📍233 W Main St. Genoa, IL 60135 #chicagoland #chicagosuburbs #chicagofoodie #genoa #breakfastspot #diner #familyfriendly

September 2025. First visit today. Visited with my daughter and two grands. This is an older establishment but in great shape. Basically plain decor reminiscent of the 60's. Booths, tables and counter seating. Open to serve breakfast and lunch. I ordered the Patty Melt. It was very good. Serverd on two pieces of toasted and buttered rye bread. One third pound patty, cheese and grilled onions. Comes with Soup of the Day. Friday being a very good Cream of Potato soup. The real shocker were the very affordable prices. My $8.95 meal would probably be at least $12 to $15 at many other locals. There is a kids menu but did not see any "Senior" specials, but with the low prices really not needed. So if you are in Genoa Illinois and looking for a breakfast or lunch restaurant serving very good basic food, give Genoa Cafe a try.

Went to this place this morning I found hair wrapped around my has brown took them back to get the same order I had placed at first and they gave me the wrong order I took it back again and they gave me raw eggs and the the lady said they couldn't do anything about it she was mad and had attitude because I had gone again and she walked away from me. Last time me and my family eat at this place. Do anybody know the health inspector number and maybe these people should be wearing hair nets

Being from Chicago I've tasted some good eats. Considering myself a self proclaimed "foodie", I really really loved this place. The atmosphere is like a mom and pops restaurant. The food that they push out of that kitchen is nothing short of delicious. I'm not a fan of corner grills French fries . Under cooked in my opinion. Genoa cafe fries are crispy and seasoned. The prices are very very affordable. For under 15.00 my husband got the Philly steak with fries and choice of soup ,salad, or cottage cheese. I ordered the ham and cheese club with fries. So my husband's Philly steak OMG! grilled onion, green pepper, smothered in cheese. So so good I had to steal a bite. My club was delicious. This place is not raved enough about, way better than corner grill in my opinion any day! I hate we just...

Honestly, i LOVE KFR but this place in town is closer and just as good if not better (sorry Sam, you still make AMAZING dishes that i crave, promise 🤗) seriously tho, our waitress was so nice and accommodating with having a toddler and all. Tip good for entirely reasonable prices. Try their steak and eggs with the truly home-made scalloped potatoes. TRUST ME, it won't disappoint. Another satisfied and we'll satiated customer. Food for friends and family. Feel very much at home here. Also, new remodeling really brings a mre upscale vibe and relaxed atmosphere; Would HIGHLY...
