China Wok — Restaurant in Georgetown

We ordered for the first time tonight, and I was disappointed. My shrimp and broccoli was bland. The shrimp were pretty good but the broccoli was cooked in some places and hard in others. My fried won tons tasted really bad as if the meat had turned. The won ton wrappers were hard as a rock and tasted stale. My won ton soup was okay, and my pork fried riced was dry. I won't being ordering from them ever again. UPDATE 6/4/23 My daughter ordered a Singapore Mei Fun. There was no pork, chicken, or scrambled eggs in it. Whoever made it dumped a ton a red pepper flakes in it. It was so hot she couldn't eat it. She rinsed it off. The thing they made was not what she ordered.

I rarely review anything ever unless I have a good reason, this is hands down the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The man who took my order was extremely rude to me when I came to pick up my food. He announced only one of the items I had ordered and since it wasn't the only thing I ordered I said no, he then said "oh I'm sorry I'm Chinese I guess you can't understand me" in a very sarcastic way when I told him the rest of my order which happened to be the order he was announcing. It is possible someone else could order just one of the items I had you know. His rudness aside isn't the only reason why I gave one star, the food was terrible. Everything was soggy and tastlesst and saturated with so much oil it was damn near inedible. My first time coming here left a bad impression. I am a college student and because of my class, I was four minutes late to order a lunch special. The cashier declined to give any leniency to a new customer and in a callous tone, so I am gave two stars for service and disregard for customer acquisition/retention. I went back a second time with a friend who wanted to go and the second cashier was much more friendly and flexible about policy, as I was offered food from a recent order cancellation at half-price instead of it being disposed of as is typical.
