WARNING: Long post! At the Georgetown, DE store on 9-6-2018 I placed 3 orders. The 3rd order was for me - I ordered a Whopper Jr with cheese, ketchup, mayonnaise, onion, tomato & pickle. Easy peasy, right? NOT! They could not get it right! The manager had the sandwicth maker make it twice after the first order - with explanation each time - and in the end I never got cheese. Each time it was made different! I am so mad @ Burger King I may NEVER EVER eat there again...I am not a frequent customer anyway because there are not many stores in our area, but I used to go to the Milford, DE store at least once a week when my Dad was alive. Every single employee in the Milford store were friendly to every customer...it was almost like going into a Chik-fil-A!! The employees at the Georgetown, DE store never greeted a single customer while I was there from 11:30AM - 12:30PM. The manager had long, long braided extentions that flapped around her hips & over her shoulders every time she moved. I prayed I would not find her hair in my hamburger! The drink counter was messy. I stood back away from the counter as I filled our drink cups because it was wet everywhere. When we returned to the order counter to order ice cream cones again I was disappointed in the care given to our health. The female taking all the food orders turned away from handling filthy money to touch our cones without sanitizing her hands or using a napkin to pick up the cones! DISGUSTING! The only reason we entered this establishment was because we felt it a priority to get my 87 y.o. MIL out of the house & encourage her to eat something other than PBJ.What a disaster. Poor & unwelcoming employees who have forgotten all about basic food service tenants to a family of Hispanic descent with 3 young children & 1 newborn baby with an ear-piercing non-stop cry that these young parents ignored! I could not see them, but I could not detect any attempt to give the unhappy infant a bottle or pacifier....the crying was never muffled nor did it ever sound as if someone was patting it's back. It was so loud we had to lean in to hear each other. Incorrect order. Unfriendly & unsanitary staff. Bad reflection on BK...
Read moreWell I wouldn't be too much of an influencer since I always order the same meal every time. Whopper or Jr. Meal is all I ever get. I particularly like the flavor of the chicken even though I never order it. But that will change. The place is full of high school students during the summer, but looks like this particular location has hired a good band of them. The restaurant has been clean each time I've visited. Odd placement of the wrap around bench boothe seating. Facing a side door with a flat TV hung precariously over head. My sandwich was put together relatively neat. No ingredients fell during consumption. And condiments were applied lightly for a clean experience. The fries weren't fresh but were boiled long enough not to be overly crisp! A adequate amount of salt was added, and the actual pieces of pie ties a meal off perfectly. The sweet tea could use more sweetening, and the bathroom is for one man use at a time. The wait time for the meal is short. I plan on stopping by everytime I visit Georgetown and more than likely will continue to order whoppers. I'll just add a nugget to my orders here on out, just for some...
Read moreI don't normally go to fast food restaurants and I haven't been to Burger King in years. I was having a really bad day and realized I hadn't eaten so I decided to stop in and check it out.
As soon as I walked in, the girl at the counter greeted me even though she was waiting on customers and the place was busy. I went to the restroom first and I was amazed at how clean it was for any restaurant.
When I returned to order food, the same girl took my order. I noticed that she was very friendly and was speaking to others like they were old friends. She made me feel the same way. Her name was Tina and she made my day. She is an asset to this restaurant and has definitely made an impression on me and others who were there that day.
It's rare to see someone who loves what they are doing and makes customers feel welcome. I gave her a $20 tip but she...
