I mean I've never met a manager so unwelcoming in my life. I've been working out here in Georgetown for about 2 weeks every day I get McDonald's breakfast the first time I visited the restaurant it was around 7:00 in the morning and a worker told me that they don't open up until 8:00 so the rest of the week I start going a little after 8:00 giving them time to get their store together I start arriving about 8:20. Today I arrived at 8:23 a manager outside smoking and yelling at one of the other teammates about something I could not make out then he looks at me and my partner walking up and shakes his head yelling McDonald's is closed McDonald's is closed come back after 9:00. We could clearly see customers inside of the store. His attitude threw me off so bad it ruined me so bad I looked up the store hours on Google to see what time do they open online it said open so I then called into the store and ask are you guys open because you never know what be wrong with people and their motives this world be so biased you cannot trust people.. when he seen us turn around and come back to the store he got red and he tried to run into the store before us still yelling still having an attitude I asked him why tell us that he grumbled through his cigarette and continue to go right to the food Line and prepare whatever he was without even washing his hands corporate can check his reactions on camera I'm sure they can find a better teammate to run...
Read moreWhen cruising through Georgetown, Ohio on a budget, we locals have our own "Fast-Food Alley". Lucky for you though, we aren't without this American staple in a "Meal for a Deal" dining. Located on St. Rt. 125 in the northern most part of town, the local McDonald's can be found in the IGA Shopping Mall.
Our local McD's is always fast on their service, unless of course it happens to be the lunch rush, but hey, that's to be expected of a "meal for a deal" establishment. I myself have never had any problems from the fine crew or patrons that frequent this restaurant. The food is of course your standard McDonald's menu line-up, so don't worry, we haven't changed a thing. We have kept it hot and fresh for you though.
Like to sit and enjoy the free Wi-Fi while enjoying a shake? Go ahead, with the ample seating available you can enjoy surfing the net while enjoying your meal. Watching traffic outside while you eat more your thing? Then take a seat on our outdoor patio for just the occasion and there are plenty of window seats inside too, for those cold or rainy days.
Georgetown McDonald's isn't without the usual draw backs most small town fast food restaurants suffer through, the biggest point other than competition from others, is the parking. So if you drive a bigger vehicle, there is a lot just next door for you folks as well.
So til next time, I'll be keeping it...
Read morePlace is a joke. If there was legitimate competition they would be out of business. Random hours of operation. They leave the outside lights on when they are closed, which confuses customers. Good luck after 7pm, as it is a crapshoot whether they will be open. My bet would be NO...
There is no inside dining. Customers can not enter the building. We are nearly 2 years in the COVID world and we can't eat inside this location. Sad really, as many local customers used to enjoy meals inside.
Too be honest, I wonder why this location is even open at all. If they are so scared of the virus, just stay home. If an employee tests positive, they close the place down for hours, if not days without warning. Safety is important. But overkill is insanity.
Curbside is the way to go if frequenting this location. It is faster service. The food is usually up to the company standard. But when it is bad, it is really bad. Good luck ordering shakes. Limited menu since COVID. The experience was far better before COVID happened.
It is the only real fast-food place in town. Burger King is there, but I said fast. If you can, just drive past and get food in another town. If you can't, this is the best option for fast food...
