Reece Barbecue — Restaurant in Georgetown

After hearing all the good reviews about Reece's BBQ, I drove 25 miles in traffic to purchase a carryout order. I had checked the website before leaving which indicated Reece's was open for business. Upon arrival I found, Reece's BBQ trailer, but no one there. I walked inside the Handi House office and inquired about status of Reece's BBQ and was told, "They ain't showed up in awhile. Don't know what happened to them. No one knows. You'd think they'd post something on their website. Their BBQ is good, but people need to know. I hope they come back."

I left and wrote it off to poor business skills/business management. I don't suspect I'll ever return to...

Absolutely fantastic! Every time I drove by the marvelous aromas were calling me to come in and give it a try. But I always was going in a different direction and the time was not right. Today my bride and I made up our mind to stop and get dinner. I am so glad we did. We had the 3 bone ribs with sides. Pricing is good and the portions just right. A large selection of sides. We had collards, baked beans and potato salad with bread. A very flavorful, not hot, sauce on the side. We had a great dinner and plan to go back more often. A repeat customer we met there told me the Turkey legs...

This is a food truck. We were hungry and wanting something that wasn’t your commercial fast food joint.

I ordered the Lemonade, it was ok, tastes like any other lemonade. The mac and cheese was good, baked. The beans were flavored nicely. The pulled pork sandwich with sweet sauce was tasty and nicely portioned.

My fiancé got the brisket with two sides. The brisket has a good peppery rub, it’s moist and flavorful. Gives a good portion size. The sweet potato fries are tasty with a hint of cinnamon. Her opinion of the baked beans was sweet with a little heat....
