I am a full-time delivery driver for DoorDash. I went in around 8 pm and no one was at the counter. I waited 15 minutes and heard people in the back. I saw my order up on the screen not being prepared because there was no one there. I left the store and got in my car I went to the drive thru and waited at the ordering thing for about 5 minutes and spoke hello a few times. No response. I pulled up to the first window. The guy didn’t even bother to open the window and just points forward to the next window even when I tried to talk to him because I knew there wasn’t anyone at the second window. I pull up to the second window and wait for another 5-10 minutes. A lady opens the window and I tell her the name on the order knowing that they had it in their system and I watch as she swipes the screen to dismiss the order or whatever and then comes back to the window opens it and tells me “that name isn’t in our system”. I proceed to tell her that I walked inside and I could see the screen and the only order on screen was the DoorDash I had to pick up. I’m not rude about it either and I tried to explain using “I” statements and not be accusatory because I know fast food is a hard job. She looks at me and instead of saying anything she shuts the window and locks it and walks away. I had to call the customer and support to cancel the order. If that’s what it’s like in the 5 minutes I was supposed to be there picking up an order? Then I can’t IMAGINE what it’s like normally.
I got another order later in the night for that same Burger King and I never decline orders and the one I got was high paying too but I declined it because I NEVER have been so appalled at the behavior that was shown to me. I’m 19 and have worked at multiple fast food places as well and it’s not anyone’s dream job but I feel that it was just plain disrespect when I tried my best to not be “one of...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I ordered from this location, granted it is 9:30 at night, but still we ordered went into the lobby to ask about the chicken fries seeing on the app it was an option to have fiery chicken fries. As we go to ask the girl at the front counter (I didn’t catch her name wish I had) she already started with acting irritated that we were ordering. We then asked her about the fiery chicken fries and if they have them and she said “we don’t do those” I asked her “if I order them in the app can you still make them?” And she then repeated very rudely “no I told you we don’t do those”. Mind you this item I’m talking about is on their app for this particular store, I then told them that’s okay just make them plain. I figured I could get a little side of the glaze that goes on the sandwich and wraps, well of course this same girl decided to get an attitude about that so we said it’s fine I’ll just get some buffalo sauce. It didn’t stop there. We then walk up to the counter to get our order, the same girl employee didn’t get us our large cups for our drinks so we asked kindly “may we have our large cups please” the SAME girl employee then rolled her eyes and sighed and got upset and acted as if it was such an inconvenience to get us our cups for our drinks. Moral of this is if you’re gonna work customer service you have to be able to deal with and handle customers and customers asking questions about a product. I didn’t catch the girls name at the counter but it was not a pleasant experience at all. We will not be coming into this Burger King or the lobby again. Burger...
Read moreToday I went there at 1:00 because I had a coupon. I did not get my food until after 2. Let alone order until 1:50. One may ask, how did this happen? Well. I was sitting in the drive thru line for 15-20 minutes when zero cars had ordered or moved and at that point decided to go inside and order. Because it might be quicker, right? Well. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the ten other people who had already been standing in the line for an unusual amount of time. We got to know each other pretty well by the time we placed our orders. Karen, if you’re reading this; hope everything’s still going well with the fam. Keep me posted on if Maddie makes the cheer team. Anyways, me along with everyone else literally stood in line for 40 minutes before our orders were even taken. While standing here, I had a lot of time to observe. Couldn’t help but notice one of the workers (she with the shaved eyebrow who shall not be named) literally stood there staring at the screen waiting for periods of 5-10 minutes just to simply put the burgers in the bag. Meanwhile they all proceeded to ignore us people in the line and did not take any orders. But mad respect to the one guy who was making burgers as fast as possible and uh, oh I don’t know actually doing his job. An idea. Anyways, I am know enjoying my freezing cold burger while sitting at a dirty booth and just wanted to share my experience. Thank you...
