Whiskey Moon Cafe & Coffee Room — Restaurant in Georgetown

You enter into Whiskey Moon shop, an entry way arrayed with local goodies and an atmosphere immediately feeling happy. A short meander to the back of the shop brings you to the ordering counter where the kind staff waits to greet you.

The drink menu is simple and traditional. Containing a just few shop specialities such as salted caramel breve and cinnamon-spiced mocha, which sound delicious, but you choose to stick with cold brew (sadly, they don’t have a house brew!)

The food menu, too, is simple. Quiches, a small variety of sandwich and biscuit options, but what catches my attention is the yogurt bowl, said to be topped with granola, berries, and honey. Sounds so sweet and simple! I was not expecting the beautifully presented, and jam-packed bowl of goodness, that was brought out to me. At initial glance, it looks like a bowl of ice cream! But nope, just a delicious, huge bowl of whipped yogurt stacked with natural sweetness of honey, berries, and sprinkled with granola.

The brief interactions I had with various staff were super friendly and kind. They make even strangers from out of town (i.e. me!) feel like they belong here!

Would definitely recommend Whiskey Moon to both visitors and locals. Seems like a great beacon of kindness and hospitality to...

A Hidden Gem with Charm and Flavor!

I recently stumbled upon this eclectic café, and wow, it blew me away! From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy, inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is a fun mix of quirky and vintage, creating a vibe that’s both relaxed and charming. It’s the perfect spot for a leisurely morning coffee or a cozy afternoon with friends.

Now, the food! Every dish I tried was a treat for the taste buds. Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and creative combinations made each bite a delightful surprise. Whether you're in the mood for a savory brunch or a sweet treat, they’ve got something that’ll hit the spot.

Just had the greatest experience at the Whiskey Moon Cafe! Walking in you get that cozy, feel good atmosphere with the aroma of good coffee and the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen.

We were welcomed with a warm blueberry scone with coffee and a hazelnut/chocolate latte.

For breakfast we had the cheddar/bacon quiche. The crust was so flaky and it was filled with bacon and topped with gooey cheddar cheese! It was also served with a nice little side salad to compliment the decadent main star!

Buffy, Jim and staff are so welcoming, and happy to help you make the tough choice of which specialty coffee to try!

We had to get a doggy bag and of course some of the fresh pastries that had just been out of the oven to take home for later!

This is definitely going to be my favorite stop to feed my sweet tooth and coffee fix. We had great conversations with other locals and enjoyed all of the unusual arty stuff and cool gift items.
