Update (Positive Experience): I recently had a conversation with the manager at this location, and I was really impressed. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to improving the customer experience. I appreciated his transparency and his dedication to making things right. It reassured me that my previous experience was more of an exception than the norm.
Since then, Iāve noticed improvementsāthe food quality remains strong, and the service has returned to being prompt and reliable. Iām glad to see their commitment to customer satisfaction is back on track.

Original Review (For Context): When this location first opened, the customer service was outstandingāwarm greetings, friendly staff, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, that began to decline over time. The atmosphere no longer felt inviting, and the staff often came across as defensive rather than service-focused.
The food quality also dropped from what it once was, and I found myself going only because it was close to home. I even started considering other options because it just didnāt feel like the same experience anymore.

Final Thought: Iām grateful the manager took time to listen and address concerns. That kind of leadership deserves to be acknowledged. Iāll continue coming back to this American Deli and hope the positive...

We went to the one Sandy Plains. It was the only beacon of light in a darkened strip mall. The glare of fluorescent lights spilling onto the 6 cars parked right in front.
It does not appear that they would like to linger and stay... the clientele are either wrapping up, going to work, or on break from work. The emphasis is on getting in, ordering, and taking your food and leaving.
Except if you are the neighborhood working woman with nothing else to do, or the inebriated elder gentleman, or the fashionably homeless person. In that case, this is your lighted oasis where you can come in for some warmth, a little camaraderie, and the swift attention of the worker behind the counter.
The food is not geared for the gourmand. It is wholesome, robust, and geared to fulfill your appetite. The chicken fried rice hit the spot even though it could have used a little more spice. My companion had the cheesecake and pronounced it 'fit to eat', almost as good as Jersey Mikes. I hear their wings are decent too.
American deli fulfills a neighborhood need that waffle house does not. Kudos. I will be back the next time I am...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is great, everything is extremely fresh and the staff are friendly. I came here multiple times, their homemade drinks are refreshing and delicious. The homemade sauces are great, the rest are from American Deli. The wings are fresh, crispy and flavorful. I recommend the Garlic Honey and Lemon Pepper Dry flavors.
The only suggestions I have are: Make the wing size bigger, the wing sizes are extremely small when compared to Wing Stop or a local spot. Prices are already affordable, a couple dollars extra for medium size wings would be totally acceptable.
Make homemade ranch / sauces. Currently they use ken's pre-packaged sauces and I wish they at least made their own ranch. It would take the flavor to the next level.
If they did those two things, this place would most likely be best wing spot around Marietta. Other than that, the place is great and I definitely recommend you try it,.
EDIT: I went again after I wrote this review, and turns out they already increased the size of the wings. AND they kept the original price. This solidifies my opinion of NaNum Chicken Factory as one of the best places to get wings in Marietta. Hopefully the homemade...
