ANNUNZIATA'S Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Georgia

Extremely dissapointed! We were a party of 6 and we know from having been there plenty of other times that it's a little harder for them to put a table together for 6. But they have always put two together and never has been a problem. Until last night. We put our name in and there were two parties of four ahead of us. Hostess sat the first party. Then waitress sat the party before us. We noticed a large party left from a table behind the wall where we were waiting. We thought oh good! We should be next! Well a two party came in and hostess took their name. Then a man came in and she took their name and he went back outside. We kept waiting and they still did not call us. All of a sudden a group walked in and went somewhere and we didn't pay it too much attention because people were coming in and out. Finally my mother in law said we need to check that table. We looked and there were people sitting there!! The hostess came over and we questioned her about it and she said oh hm I did not seat them. Then she said let me go see if we can push these two tables together. She walked away then came back and said I'm sorry we can't do those tables because it's a fire hazard. So then we questioned her again about the people that just walked in and took that table. We were very irritated at this point. She said let me go find out what is going on. And through all this two more parties came in and she took their names. Finally she came back again and said you know when I looked at then I did recognize the man and woman. This was a lie. No one called them to sit down they walked in and sat themselves down where we should have been seated. We waited a few more mins and the hostess kept seating people in other tables to where there were not any left to put together for us. We finally told her that we are leaving and she tried to explain her lie again. We said no this is wrong and you have done nothing about it and we are leaving! This is unacceptable. We ended up going to Georgios where we should have went to begin with. They always have great food and great customer service! We probably won't be...

Guy behind counter/cook is extremely rude. I am a doordash driver and am now blacklisting this place for pickup. On multiple occasions, he doesn’t bother to even look at me when telling me food won’t be ready for another 15-30 minutes. Last time I was there, he said it would be a 15 minute wait. I’m ok with that and I know restaurants get busy. But after 30 minutes of waiting I asked again, only to have same response without him even looking up at me. No apologizes, just annoyed I would even ask. Maybe restaurant should build a wall between kitchen and main floor to have him avoid any customer interaction.

EDIT: On a side note, I do appreciate the owner for reaching out to all the messages. I really hope he wasn’t the one that posted the original response to this review (which was deleted this morning after negative press). I have done 2 completed deliveries from here, but last 2 I unassigned myself from. I posted the unprofessional response I received to a local doordash driver group, which is where reviews came in. I don’t think it’s fair to business that they rate it, since they didn’t have negative experiences like I did. However, whoever initially responded to this review basically proved my point. I also took screenshots of initial review response. I really hope you guys can fix this, which shouldn’t be that hard for future dashers. Well, Sal's, I didn't want to go there...but since you responded to my 1-star rating, I'll go there. We visited very recently, on 10/12/18. I'll say the food was fine, but the service was HORRIBLE! We had 3 in our party, and each ordered a meal (meatballs, pizza, and a calzone). One meal came out, and the waitress informed us the other 2 would be served shortly. During this time the waitress took my tea glass to refill, and I watched as she placed it on the drink dispenser and walked away. About 10 minutes later I could see she looked surprised and finally fill my glass and return it, apologizing it took so long. That was inexcusable! After another 10 minutes my wife had finished her meal, and the waitress finally acknowledged that we still did not have our 2 meals. I told her that it has been about 30 minutes since the first meal was served. She stated that there was a problem in the kitchen. But, several other patrons had entered, ordered and received their meals in the meantime. A lady came to our table, I assume a manager since she didn't identify herself, and asked if we were having an issue, to which I explained the issue, and she didn't offer any sympathy or resolution. Finally we received our other 2 meals a full 45 minutes after the first was served. So, sir, with all due respect, I will not be visiting your establishment again.
