Since I’m unable to leave a review for the actual customer service office in Duluth, this will have to do for now. I have been with this credit union for 12+ years. The last 2 times I’ve had to contact the call center, both instances were just horrible. Customer service is very rude and nasty. The 2nd time I needed to call in to dispute a transaction, the csr was rude to the point I requested to speak with a manager. He claimed no one was available but I would receive a call back before the end of the day. Two more days went by without me being contacted so I called again and was told the same thing. I even emailed the bank via their contact info from the website and was told I would receive a call back. It is now exactly 2 weeks later to this exact day that no manager has called me back to discuss how rude and nasty the guy was that handled my dispute. I explained I used my debit card to book a hotel reservation due to an emergency situation, but was unable to actually check in. When I called the hotel myself to confirm the reservation was received, I was told by the front desk that I couldn’t check in for another few hours just due to the time, I canceled the reservation with the hotel directly to book another where I could check in immediately. I provided all necessary proof to confirm I NEVER stayed at the original hotel even though my card was still charged! The csr I spoke with interrogated me in a very hostile manner as if I personally took his money. Nonetheless, I was then told it would take at least 45 days to receive a refund because it had to be investigated. I understand the bank having to their due diligence to investigate, but it shouldn’t take at minimum 45 days to get my money back when all that has to be done is confirm with the hotel that I NEVER even checked in let alone stayed! This bank used to give a provisional credit in the mean time but clearly that’s changed. Read moreI have been a customer since I relocated to Georgia. I opened my account at the Sugarloaf branch but started doing all my banking at the Satellite Blvd location bc I loved across the street. However I will be returning to the Sugarloaf branch for all my banking from now on! I almost closed by account because of the way I was treated at the Satellite Blvd location! I switched from banks to credit unions because of the family oriented very personal atmosphere that credit unions offered over 30yrs and have always been satisfied with my decision up until last week which was the final straw with the staff at the Satellite Blvd office. Never have I felt so humiliated by the way I was treated over a check I attempted to cash. Remember I'm not a new customer I've had an account for a year and a half there. Furthermore staff is a incompetent giving misinformation over services they offer. I was able to get everything cleared up however at the Sugarloaf office. Read moreI wish I had did better research before selecting them to obtain an auto loan from. From the start the miscommunication and confusion by the staff would only get worse as the process went. The day the loan check was suppose to be ready our company went to retrieve it and it was not there and not ready. The following Monday I reached out to my loan coordinator (who from the start I basically did her job for her and she didn’t understand half of what she was asking for) she said the check was ready to drop by at any time and it would take 5-10 minutes to pick up. When I got there it was obviously not ready they told me to have a seat and there was 17 people ahead of me and one lady working, I walked back up to the receptionist showed her the email from my coordinator that says the check is ready it will take 5-10 minutes to get, unfortunately after waiting almost an hour I finally got the check apparently it had never been sent or processed. I was furious and honestly will be transferring this loan as soon as I can back to my bank. They are uneducated, very unprofessional and extremely unfriendly!!! No one in this company knows what...
