All Atmosphere: this place has a warm hue to it amd accents the walls with a traditional "green" to bring the feeling of mexican architecture to your meal stay. There is recorded traditional mexican music playing over speakers and a lot of antiques decorating the interior, leaving a plesent feeling atmosphere that is very casual and family friendly. There is a large amount of booth sitting which is a plus and high chairs for children. This is definitely not a date night restuarant, more of a place for you and co workers to go on lunch break. Food: the food is excellent and themed, all the dishes are classic and new mexican favorites that are always loved! Enchiladas, quesadilla, tacos, nachos they have it. All the food tastes great and is very filling. Value: the value here is definitely in the portion sizes, where as the food is good, it certainly isnt a five star sit down black tie event quality, you really pay for quantity. The plates were very cheap at ~$10.00, but you always get more food than you can finish. Service: The service isnt the selling point either, it was slow to get our food, take our order, and i waited 20 minutes for a refill of water. Of course it was busy and i understand they may have forgotten or were swamped and occupied with other customers, but you get what you pay for, and that includes service. Overall: I think this is an excellent place for a quick bite of great food at amazing value, but dont come for a date or expecting a...
Read moreI have tried time after time to be a patron of this place, however, they make it extremely difficult! The food is already mediocre at best, but I went today and ordered the shrimp house special, to go, it was bland, loaded with onions and mushrooms (the cheap ingredients), no cheese and I found SEVERAL chicken pieces! I am allergic to chicken and wasn’t able to finish the meal! I called and spoke with the girl that answered and I told her what happened. She looked up my order and was barely apologetic about my experience! She said to call back to speak with Don, the manager. I’m sure this place isn’t willing to pay for anyone’s medical bills due to someone getting violently ill from their negligence! Had I wanted chicken, I would have ordered it! This just lets me know that they either recycle their food or they are preparing land animal food along with seafood! The prices online are lower than their actual prices. The same girl on the phone said “due to COVID they haven’t updated the website yet”. Really people?!?! We are going to stop blaming everything on COVID, all of 3+ years later!!! This is sheer laziness! Especially when their actual prices are $3 to $4 more for an entree’ than what’s on the website!!
I’ll never go to this place again. I wish I could give ZERO stars!! Be cautious when dining at...
Read more⭐ Executive-Level Customer Review – Casa II ⭐ As a long-time resident of the Somerset subdivision and a regular patron of Casa II, I can confidently say the food quality is consistently excellent. From the flavorful birria tacos to the fresh guacamole, Casa II continues to deliver authentic Mexican cuisine that brings us back week after week.
However, I’d be remiss not to highlight an ongoing concern that could be silently impacting both customer satisfaction and overall revenue—the phone service. Despite living just minutes away, members of our community often express frustration with the inability to get through by phone for call-in orders. Long hold times or no answer at all discourages business—not due to food quality, but due to operational inefficiency.
Casa II has an incredible product. With minor adjustments in phone order handling—perhaps through streamlined staffing, a dedicated call-in line, or even an online ordering option—this restaurant could further increase its customer base and enhance its already stellar reputation.
We love Casa II. We just want it to be easier to love.
