When I pulled the automated voice said to go on an order. I order 2 big bufords, a medium fry and a vanilla milkshake. The automated voice said I'm sorry... that item is not available here. So I pull around and a young girl took my money, and As she gave me my change I asked her "you all don't have milkshakes anymore?", she replied, yes we do. I said well your automated voice said you no longer carry that item.. she just gave me a blank stare and I said well can I order one please.. a medium vanilla shake, $4.19 and it wasn't thick or cold, just a cup full of runny froth, and it was so messy, just dripping from the cup, ice cream was dripping from her hands and running all over the place and she just handed it to me, drippping all over my hands and my car door....i was thinking couldnt you just get a napkin and clean it up a bit before handed it over to me? A messy mess! The hamburgers looked like they were made hours earlier, too much mayo and the bread was kinda soggy, and barely warm. Read moreTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I wanted to try this Checkers since I like Checkers food. I went to the drive-thru anf asked about the size of the burger patties. For example McDonald's and Burger King advertise a quarter pound Patty for some of their burgers. Since there was no patty weight listed and I don't know the size of the various burgers at Checkers I asked so that I would know which Burger I wanted to get. The pictures don't always give you information about how much food you're getting. The lady at the mic misunderstood what I wanted and she said, "It's a big burger". I clarified my question asking her what's the weight of the patty. Her response was a sarcastic, "IOWNKNOW!" (English Translation: I don't know). Poor attitude. At that point I thought about it and I realized that there are lots of other places where I can get food and good customer service so I simply left. If the customer service is that poor then the food may be poor as well.

Read moreI used to love going to checkers, but I will never again. I’m not from this area but stopping by, the way I was treated will guarantee I will never spend money here again. Maya and Sergio guided me through how to place an online order because their “system was down”, ( which I’m in the restaurant field, it happens, I know) but I asked them the address and everything to make sure I was placing the right order at the right place. Then when I pull up to the window all maya says is “oh u gonna have to drive over there, this the wrong location” after they told me this was the right location? I’m sorry I don’t care about the 20$ but now I see why the chain is dying. As I said I used to love coming here but from now on, I will never come here again and never tell anyone else to come here.

After reading multiple reviews I have to agree, the customer service IS appalling . Sorry ‘checkers(owner)’, don’t reply to this, bc honestly, it won’t change my mind.
