Review update Jun 28, 2025: I Love Chick-fil-A but I Hate Their Mobile Website Menu
This review has more to do with the Chick-fil-A website then food or customer service. I'll start off by saying Chick-fil-A has excellent food and impeccable customer service. Five stars for that!
Problem: Here's what I hate. Many restaurants have transitioned to the practice of assuming that everybody on a smart phone wants to either have food delivered or order ahead for pickup. The result is that menus are incredibly difficult to reach online, if you can get to them at, all because you have to run the gauntlet of whether or not you want food delivered or for pickup. This is very time-consuming. Many times my spouse calls to ask me if I want anything from Chick-fil-A. Unfortunately, it's usually when she's in the drive-thru line and just about ready to order so I don't have lots of time to run the "menu gauntlet" on the Chick-fil-A site to figure out what I want.
On the Chick-fil-A site when you click the "Menu" tab it takes you to a page with general categories of their food. Once you pick a category like "Entrees' it goes to another page listing all of its entree items. When you click on an entree item like "Chick-fil-A nuggets" the page it takes you to is the "Chick-fil-A nuggets" page with two options: "Order Pickup" and "Order Delivery". I don't want either! I just want to look at the menu to see what counts the nuggets come in and if possible see the prices for them. Why should I have to start a fake order just to see that information? Then when you click an option it takes you a page where you have to enter your address. Extra & annoying steps. Think about it, I'm 5 or 6 clicks/steps into the Chick-fil-A website and I still don't know anything about the food I'm trying to find out about! It's a time-consuming process especially if you're not familiar with the layout of the website! Sometimes I just want to peruse the menu to see what and if I want to order from Chick-fil-A.
Solution: SIMPLIFY! Why not have a simple "Menu" button that takes you to the general Chick-fil-A menu and have a separate "Place Order" button for takeout and delivery options. That way those who want to place an order can do so very easily without making it difficult for people just to look at the menu. I don't want my time wasted!
Please fix this.
Previous review: Normally I get great service but today I got terrible service! The girl who was out the window gave me two bags of food that I ordered however did not give me the drink. What she should have done was told me your drink is coming so that I would know that she didn't think my order was finished or that I didn't accidentally drive off without my drink. Instead she just simply turned around after handing me the bags and essentially ignored me. I realize I didn't have a drink and I asked her "Ma'am, I should have a drink also." She copped attitude as if I had insulted her. I honestly didn't know if she had forgotten about me. Ironically my drink had been sitting in front of her since she handed me my bags of food. Bottom line is that courtesy in communication is real simple. Just tell people what's going on. If I have more food coming in my order just let me know. I'm more than happy to wait a reasonable amount of time until my food is ready. This particular Chick-fil-A needs...
Read moreI have to admit, I had the pleasure of speaking with Truitt Cathy several times, and with both Dan and Bubba a few time in the past. So, what I've run into recently is a sadness as much as a profound frustration. Recently my wife and I were traveling back to Atlanta from our FL home near Panama City. I am a bit of a "tea - aholic" so we stopped at the CFA in Dothan, AL and bought a gallon of "unsweetened" tea. About 50 miles up the road I finished my own tea in my Yeti cup and poured some of the CFA tea into it. It was SWEET TEA...! I CANNOT DRINK THAT! So, no tea till I got back to our Atlanta home. The next day we had a family reunion in Lithia Springs so I brought the SWEET TEA into that location and received - BY FAR - the most demeaning treatment you can imagine from the young man who was the "manager". He not only refused to cover the mistake, he TOTALLY INSULTED ME in front of his customers when I suggested that is not the way TRUITT (nor any of the other proprietors I've met over the years) would handle this. Hey guys, I promise that gal of tea doesn't cost you ONE DOLLAR...!!!
When I became irritated (not ugly) he literally threatened to call the police. What a totally indifferent, unprofessional - MCDONALD'S attitude. SO ... I was once a once-a-week customer. Now, almost NEVER! I guess arriving at multi-billion $$ value means the present management - grandsons - have lost the once stellar customer FIRST ......
Read moreshowed up at 10 am and parked to go inside b/c the drive through line was so long it was into the street after wrapping around the building twice. don't get to the register until 10:25 even though there was only 6 people in front of me. was asked to step forward said hello and the cashier immediately turns around and opens a couple of boxes and sleeves of cups while i wait. she turns back around ( after doing essentially nothing for ten mins and the person who was behind has already ordered with someone else) i ask fro my biscuit. it's now 10:33 and they no longer serve breakfast. i told her i was on time but she was just messing around for the last 10 mins. she said sorry. Not wanting to cause a scene i order 8 nuggets, wait an additional 25 mins to receive them for some reason. ask for dipping sauce. and they give me 1 packet, i ask for a second packet and they said 'sorry you only ordered an 8 count, company policy' I love chick-fli-a but i would never go back to this location even under threat of death. took me over an hour to get breakfast/lunch and i couldn't even get a 2nd packet of dipping sauce cus i didn't order enough. Corporate chick-fli-a should really do something about...
