In today's society, very rarely are expectations met and even more rare are they exceeded, but I can honestly say that Chef Andrew met and exceeded my expectations. My wife and I have 2 young children and we very seldom get a date night alone, so I decided to surprise her with a private dinner in our home. I contacted Chef Andrew and explained what I was trying to do and during the conversation, I mentioned that I had to figure out what to do with the kids while my wife and I had this dinner, and he wisely advised me to include them and that he would make enough for us all. And that is exactly what he did! Mr. Andrew sent me the menu for approval (the menu was very flexible and I have dietary restrictions and Mr. Andrew was more than accommodating) and instructed me on the time that he would be at our home and the time frame in which I needed to have my wife out of the house.

The day of the private dinner arrived and I was able to get my family out of the house on time and luckily so because Mr. Andrew arrived on time as he said that he would. I was scrambling in preparation for this evening and of course did not have a chance to get flowers for the evening, but Mr. Andrew went to the store for me and picked up some flowers in order to make the evening even more special!!! Now that is Customer Service!!! We make it back home at the exact time that Mr. Andrew had instructed me and when my wife and kids walked into the house, they were amazed!!! Mr. Andrew had set the table with the table cloth, the plate settings, and the flowers on the table and the candles were lit. I introduced my family to Mr. Andrew (it was my first time meeting him as well) and we all went upstairs and changed clothes for the evening. When we came back down, we were seated and had pre-printed menus on the table detailing our Seven course Meal!!! So Classy!!!

Mr. Andrew patiently served us course after course and I have to say that neither my wife nor I had ever experienced anything like this before. We have been to several upscale restaurants in Atlanta, Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown, etc., but we have never been out to a restaurant and had food as good as what Chef Andrew prepared for us this evening. Everything was amazing!!! Just FYI, the Lobster Bisque and Filet Mignon was by far the best that I have ever had!!! But I digress. The quality of the food and the service was impeccable. My wife and kids could not stop talking about it for the next week!!!

I apologize for being long-winded, but I can not say enough about Chef Andrew and the evening that he created for me and my family. Once completed, Mr. Andrew left our kitchen cleaner than it was when I left it. Chef Andrew is such a nice, professional, and pleasant person and I would highly recommend him and his service. Chef Andrew was hired for a very special surprise birthday dinner my sister and I planned for our mother. Chef was professional from the very start. He conducted a telephone consultation of the event and the expectation's. We went over the menu and he offered suggestions and accommodated those with food and allergy restrictions. He was clear about all of his services entailed and provided a detailed invoice. *Note: If you are having your event at home ensure you kitchen is as close to spotless upon his arrival. We conducted a walk through the week prior to ensure everything was on the up and up for the event. On the day of the event Chef arrived on time and brought in all of his equipment and cooked a marvelous meal right in time for dinner service which started promptly as scheduled. Chef also works with at least one server who was just as professional. Beverage: Reggae Punch...just add liquor...it's sweet and tropical. Appetizer: Warm brioche rolls with cinnamon butter...so good. The butter tasted sweet and savory. We found ourselves eating the bread to finish the butter. Shrimp and grits were served and shredded chicken Marsala and grits (as an alternative) Salad: Poached pear salad with candied pecans. This salad was very tasty. The sweet and salty and various textures of this freshly prepared salad was great. Entree's: Filet mignon with poached Maine lobster tail, broccolini, and mashed potatoes. Y'all the meat was moist and tender but the lobster was melt in your mouth amazing and the dipping butter was almost drinkable (don't judge me...wait until YOU taste it)!

Oven roasted chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and spinach with mashed potatoes. Guests enjoyed this as well.

Chef Andrew provided services beyond our expectations resulting in a beautiful evening with a completely surprised and satisfied birthday girl. At the end of the evening Chef left the kitchen as clean as he found it. Imagine my surprise when I opened my fridge and found LEFTOVERS!!! October 4, 2021 I am writing to thank, honor, and give tribute to Chef Andrew Brown and his Team for the scrumptious meal prepared and served at my granddaughter's outdoor wedding on September 18th in Dallas, GA. Family, friends, and guests are still raving!!

Dinner consisted of salmon, shrimp and grits, crab cakes, bar-b -que chicken, a medley of vegetables, garden and fruit salads, rolls, and of course, reggae punch, champagne, and wine. The meal’s presentation was elegant, and the wedding cake was stunning as well as delicious!! The professionalism of the serving staff was outstanding!!

Chef Andrew originates out of Atlanta, GA, and I found him via a Google search when three (3) wedding coordinators, one local, were unable to secure a caterer or restaurant to satisfy my granddaughter’s taste buds. Before hiring Chef, she thought her “daddy could do it”. Really…….and he had to walk her down the aisle??? Needless to say, we had only weeks to plan this event, and Chef Andrew delivered!!

Besides being talented, Chef Andrew provided us with exceptional services. He is patient, delightful, and insightful. He recommended a variety of outstanding choices for our menu. Initially, our family debated food options to please the elderly, pescatarians, small children, and those with elite palates. But folks, Chef Andrew directed us well by delivering a gorgeous, tasty, and delectable meal to nearly 70 plus wedding guests.

If you’re looking to hire an executive and talented Chef, who is perceptive, creative, and friendly, I highly recommend Chef Andrew!! Take up the challenge!! You’ll be delighted with his approach, and feel at ease with his ideas, originality, and foresight. I couldn’t have asked for a more skilled professional.
