This trail is not safe. Do not go by yourself. It’s overgrown. There’s litter. The path/trail is not well carved. The trail begins with six feet of gravel that soon turns into dirt and weeds. It looks abandoned and neglected. There are large trees that are leaning over the trail (in the process of falling). Spider webs cross the trail everywhere, which indicated to me that it’s not often visited. There are not many markers to indicate your location on the trail. I was alone on the trail this morning, and looked into the woods and saw a man with a mustard shirt and black shorts. I removed my headphones and yelled “hello”. No response. I turned around and left. It’s not worth it. As far as restrooms, there’s one porta potty in the parking area.

Came expecting a 10 minute loop on a gravel path but was pleasantly surprised by an hour excursion on a well winding path through a much wilder patch of woods than I was imagining. It even has a community garden and beehives! Considering the length, variety of grades, strenousness, and branching of the path I would like to see a little better signage but it's great to have a legitimate hiking option in the city!

I decided to go back to this park to see how the garden was growing and the pictures will show you what I found. I think this is a wonderful thing being done and if I knew how they watered it I would help when I am there. I also got to see 2 gentleman biking. One thing is this has made me happy to see people there

I've been coming to this trail for a couple of years and wanted to write a review as I've recently seen a lot of improvements. It seems the trails have recently been cleared, with a lot of work going into moving fallen trees from on or near the path. The trails are very clean and I didn't see any litter on my recent walk. Also I saw more people out utilizing the trail this past weekend so it feels safer (I used to be the only one out there and felt less safe). Glad it's been kept up and utilized by others! I'll be back a lot...

I have taken my kids hiking/to trails ever since they were babies around the country where ever we have been. I'm glad this exists BUT this trail is OVERGROWN and unkempt. To the point its a bit hazardous in places. Even the small Meandering trail that looks like it was intended to be very accessible for all capabilities is just an overgrown mess and anyone with mobility issues will find it it hazardous or impassible. I'm very disappointed the condition we...
