I’ve always loved this location but over the past 3 months everything I order is consistently awful. I hate to give this review but I’ve been unable to eat my orders because of how poorly they’ve been made.
Even when I specify extra cheese or sauce it’s rarely honored even though I’m paying for it. My white pizza was so dry I had to make my own sauce to dip the pizza in so it was edible. I find my food is almost always overcooked bc the location seems short staffed even on a Friday night!
I’ve come in and some employees children were playing behind the counter ( sneezing clearly with a cold) which I’m sure is a health code violation.
The staff were generally friendly and spoke when you walk in. Now they just stare at you and make no effort to acknowledge your presence until they are ready.
One day I came in and an off shift employee was playing and joking with the on shift employee using terrible language while customers just stood there waiting for help. He then went behind the register barely washed his hands and began helping his friend. All while ignoring customers waiting for service. By the time I was waited on my pizza that was ready 15 minutes ago was cold and dry.
The young man that works in the location alone is very nice when he finally gets around to you, but he’s clearly overwhelmed under supported and there’s no management to ensure professional behavior and quality control. When they had more staff and a different manager the food was always great and so was the atmosphere. @Dominos you are in a connecting plaza with another excellent local pizza place. This seems like a great way to give St Angelo’s pizza more business. Because that’s exactly what my family has been doing.
Again I absolutely hate giving this kind of review and I allowed lots of time for improvement before I did.
I’d suggest ordering in person to see who’s working and how busy they are for those who choose to continue to gamble with their health and food quality. However something major has to change management wise and until then I will no longer be ordering from...
Read moreRecently placed an order and got my food undercooked. No biggie, called the store to let them know and was met with the rudest general manager who refused to identify herself by name. Her initial reaction to my saying ‘hey my bread bites are undercooked’ was ‘we don’t undercook anything 😤’. I told her I understand that but in this case mine came out undercooked. Everything else in the order came out great, but maybe the dough in the bread bites wasn’t kneaded enough or stretched enough. She continued to be verbally aggressive and abrasive telling me to bring the food to the store so she could see it for herself. Mind you, I ordered delivery since I’m unable to go pick it up. It all culminated in her continuing to argue with me and passing off the phone to a coworker when I told her it doesn’t make sense for me to go to the store or for her driver to pick up the food for her to then decide if she remakes it. What happens if she deems it ‘perfectly cooked’? The coworker apologized on her behalf and gave me a supposed credit.
Have been ordering from this Domino’s for quite some time and never had an experience like this. Won’t be ordering from them again. And to the rude islander sounding general manager, from one islander to another, it wasn’t personal and you gotta chill. Maybe customer service isn’t the field for you if that is how you carry yourself with a customer. And next time, properly identify yourself or give me an alternative contact above you since you truly believe you weren’t in the wrong.
That’s that and the undercooked food was trashed. Worst experience with this store and so disappointing cause it’s...
Read moreIf you want to lose faith in a brand, get disrespected, called a liar and told that your order didn't taste good coz of your selections and then get hung up on, then this is the place to go and don't forget to ask for Derek! He will make sure you get the perfect horrific treatment you want as a paying customer. We always order the same large pizza for carryout and have been doing that for a few years at this location, but when it came, it tasted like a really different pizza (more like ketchup and cheese on a bread). When I called the store to see what changed recently when our order is always the same, Derek put us on a 5 min hold just to tell that that's how they've always been making this pizza and called me a liar! We have been eating the same thing for 2 years now and it was NOT the same! And then he went on to disrespect us by saying that when he was making our order, he thought it was not gonna taste great at all. Well Derek, you can check our order history and we got the same thing last time and they did a great job, unlike this time! He was super rude and even refused to give me his name over the phone and then just hung up, well good thing is I saw in the Tracker who made our order. I will be reporting this to the Corporate office too as this is no way to treat a customer. Quitting...
