I walked in with a smile, ready for a cozy afternoon treat. The place looked promising—quaint decor, friendly vibes, the whole shebang. I decided to go for a burger and a coffee, thinking, "How can you mess that up?" Well, Friendship Coffee found a way. When my burger arrived, I swear I heard a tiny, muffled "Help me!" from beneath a mountain of condiments. Service was absolutely horrible. Took 15 minutes to even get noticed by a waitress, and even then we had to flag down another section’s waitress to ask if anyone was available for our table. Waited another 20 minutes for a flat Diet Coke and a luke warm iced latte with half melted ice. When we asked about our drinks, our waitress said “with all due respect, you don’t want me making your drink.” Why would she say that? Why was that a necessary comment to make? We saw another one of her tables ask for a sweet tea and she got it for them immediately. Took another 20 minutes to each get a biscuit that ended up being cold and garnished with dried oregano(?)(only a sprinkling around the plate?). The restaurant was not even that busy.
