Some friends and I stopped by this location after we finished an adult special needs softball game at Bethesda Park, in which this location was 1.4 miles from the park. There was a total of 6 of us, for the other 20 refused to go to this location, so they all went for Chinese food.
The orders were heavily delayed and seemingly this location was not busy at all, busy it took all of us forever to get the food. I ordered fish and shrimp tacos and the seafood (fish and shrimp) were spoiled. I took the fish dish back to the counter and later complained about the shrimp tacos and the female at the front cashier was very inconsiderate and unconcerned and sarcastically nice nasty about my complaint, in which she told me that the fish was tilapia…nevertheless, the fish and shrimp were spoiled and I can’t get that nasty taste out of my mouth. Later, another gentleman came in and I shared the concern with him and he was just as unconcerned and basically said he didn’t know what we wanted him to do. One of the fathers at the table stated that he fairly knew the owner of Italian Pie and gave me his name and we attempted to google the contact number online. I stepped outside and called the number and surprisingly and unfortunately the call went to this Lawrenceville location that I was at. I then called the Buford location, but the gentleman that answered the phone stated that Lucci had just stepped out and would be back within the hour and would return my call, in which this was around 1:30 pm and the time is now 6:00 pm and I still have not received the call. When I came back in the location the gentleman walked up and told us that they had texted and called the owner and he responded back to them for them to refund our money or make a different dish. The ONLY reason that they text the owner, because they know that I was trying to reach him. Realistically speaking, it wasn’t about the refund, it was about customer service, atmosphere/environment and quality. This is unacceptable! The same gentleman is standing at the front counter eating his food and the female is texting on her cell phone. Talk about poor customer service. There was not any empathy or sympathy about the spoiled seafood. Basically, they didn’t seemed to care about the quality of the food, basically the female stated all of the fish and shrimp would taste the same, if they remade it. She seating on the counter by the drink machine. And she had the nastiest attitude ever, but this is who you have at your front counter and the guy seemed to think everything was funny and doesn’t seem to know anything. Well we recommend some etiquette training. Everyone at the table complained about the quality of the food. Many were shocked to hear that Lucci responded in that matter because they stated that he has a totally different attitude in the Buford location and this would have been deemed an unacceptable at the Buford location. Well, we will never return again! We can spend our monies anywhere and we can definitely afford to pay for anything that we order, but the lack of professionalism, customer service, quality of the food is definitely unacceptable.
Personally, whoever is cooking the food should know when food does not smell right, before it gets to the customers. Where is the management?

Read moreI placed a pickup order for two philly steak sandwiches. I was told they would be ready in 29 minutes. Twenty minutes I arrived after ordering. Order not ready! WAITED another 20 minutes before my order was ready. Asked again when it would be ready. I was told oh it has been sitting on the counter over there for you. How was o supposed to know it was my order. Girl told me I should have come up and read the tag in it. When I payed for my order while I was waiting, the cashier had no mask. I asked her why. She said it was to hot. Asked her her name she said she didn't have to tell me. I asked for her manager. The manager told me Covid isn't transmitted through the air. WRONG!!! Asked her for her name, she said she would not tell me her name. Every table in the restaurant was full. No social distancing what so ever! People standing down the center isle waiting to pickup food. Most of them had no mask on. The cashier was handling food that was not yet in containers with no mask on. Manager took her mask down and folded pizza boxes along with the other girl with heraak down.
THe PIZZA PIE is an VERY UNSAFE place to be!!!!!!
I asked for my money back they said no your food is o we there and already made you just have to go get it. Wish they had told me it had been ready!!!! Extremly RUDE and NOT SERVICE of any SORT!!!!
Stay clear of this place if you don't want to get sick or catch COVID!!!!!
I will NEVER go back or recommend them to anyone.

Ally automatically asks me why do i need there names and that what was i gonna talk to their manager that there is no proof that the order was placed!!she insinuated that i was lying. i told her then who did i speak too and why do i have a screenshot of the call.! why would i drive 20 minutes to get there and pick up my order that was never placed!!?. instead of her being apologetic she gave me attitude.!! i called the location in lilburn because she told me there was no manager or supervisor at the one in lawrenceville. spoke to a young gentle man in lilburn named Darian who helped me out and tried his hardest to help out the situation and apologized even though it wasn't his fault or his location. No one at the lawrenceville location apologized for the inconvenience!! what is the point of asking for my name and number and no call me to let me know that the order didn't go through.
