I normally am not one to give a 5-star review. However, I have no complaints. I stumbled upon this cafe when I was trying to find a Walmart but the road was blocked so my gps took me a different route which directed me past Catfe which then lead me to google Catfe. What caught my interest the most after googling Catfe was the fact that you are able to dine in the same area as the cats! If you peep the menu like I did on their website, youâll also notice the incredible prices. Upon arrival, youâll notice that the parking lot is rather small which is advised of on the website. The entrance is in the rear which you will enter into the âkitchenâ first where you will order and pay, entering through another door will lead you to a door that opens to the dining area with over multiple tables of your choice where the cats are! They bring your ordered items to your table which I thought was rather neat. There are four kitties and cinnamon was by far my favorite. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with chips, hot black tea x2 and a slice of pumpkin pie (which all pies are HOMEMADE). The presentation of the food was simple but delightful, flavor was delicious, I thought that the little pickle served with my sandwich was so cute and thoughtful, the pumpkin pie could have used more whipped cream but only because I like lots of whipped cream. The atmosphere is very relaxed, definitely gives coffee shop vibes, clean and over all comfortable. The owners are a young married couple who are very helpful, friendly and obviously have a love for kitty cats! Definitely found my new favorite spot and hope to see this...
Read moreUnique idea but cats are nocturnal and usually pretty boundary oriented, so needless to say we saw about 3 cats (not that I know how many they have at the facility) and we were really only able to pet one. I wonder how the cats are when the place is crowded because we were the first ones there and barely saw them. The staff was mediocre. Not overly friendly, I know I said thank you multiple times and never heard one âyouâre welcome.â We were told not to pick the cats up, but also to take them off the tables. My husband actually got scratched by one of the cats trying to take it off the table but I donât think he said anything about it. I only had pretzels and a caramel frappe. I thought it was a fresh pretzel but it was like bagged pretzels. The frappe was alright. My husband said the same about the ham and cheese sandwich. I didnât walk around much, but it wouldâve been cute to see the cats names and bios (unless it was on the other side of the cafe, where I didnât walk to). I was wondering if they ever have cats in there that are adoptable. That seems like it would be a real help to the cat population. I loved the library although I was unable to fully check it out. Overall, I do not know how soon I would be back, mostly because I only went for someone else anyway. Plus I did see a bug crawling on the floor and Iâm not too sure how the staff make sure that cat hair is not getting into the kitchen area. Since the cats do jump up on the tables, itâs kind of hard to keep your hands clean while...
Read moreI absolutely adore this place and it truly is a local gem. I've been here twice, but I went today especially looking for comfort as I have a chronic illness that has made me really upset. Within 5 minutes of us being there, Cinnamon came up and curled on my lap purring away and falling asleep. She stayed with me for about 30 minutes, then also laid on my boyfriend's lap for a little bit. We were about to leave and I was laying on the floor, my boyfriend gently let Cinnamon off his lap and she crawled right back to me to lay in mine and play in my jacket. All of the cats fur is also extremely soft and you can tell how well taken care of they are.
To say that I absolutely LOVE this little Cafe is an understatement, all four cats I've has wonderful interactions with and enjoy seeing their personalities so much. It can be a bit hard to get their attention when its busy, but they will come around to you happily. I love that there's so many decorations and places for the cats to relax, play, do whatever they feel like. You can really tell the staff care for these cats, and man do they also care for the customers! Both times I've had wonderful experiences with staff and they're incredibly polite. They clean every table after someone leaves, every part of the area is spotless and well decorated, it's an incredible place and I'm so lucky to live so closeby! The food and menu also have great items and we especially love the coffee here. If you're thinking about coming here, I definitely...
