09/07/23- I stand by the older review that I left, I do however wish there was a way to improve call in orders. Twice this week I’ve tried unsuccessfully to place a call in. I guess when your food is that good, call ahead orders just get the luck of the draw. Initial thoughts were that it was pricey for lunch for 3 people. Let me just say, I’ll gladly pay the prices again. We had a Brisket Philly with onion rings, a Chicken Sandwich with Curley Fry’s, and a Big Mike’s Chicken Philly with okra. All of our meals were seasoned to perfection. The portions were on point. Sweet tea was awesome.Service was fantastic. In my opinion, the prices were in line with the quality of what we received. I think our total was around 45$ but let’s be honest, this day in time you can drop 30-35$ at the fast food joints for three full meals and I promise they don’t compare to Mama’s! See you all...

Always give local businesses praise when they do phenomenal work. Granted I don't eat there frequently, but when I do there's never a drop of disappointment. With living in the area I can't help but to beat myself up for not trying their food sooner because many people mentioned that "it's good but expensive" and to simply put it, that statement is incorrect. Even if you don't follow their specials for the day their pricing is very competitive. I'm an advocate for supporting small businesses and if their prices are the same or even a smidge more than billion dollar fake meat corporations than what's not to like? You need to stop here when in Barnesville if you want a superior BBQ experience. With a variety of proteins including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, you won't leave hungry. Sides include deep fried okra, baked beans, potato salad and more. All the proteins are carefully grilled and smoked on premise with the smoke from the grill magnetically drawing you in.
