I made an order for pickup on 5/29/2021. I drove to the location off of McGinnis Ferry to pick up my two pizzas and when I stepped foot in the door I didn't feel like I was welcome. The doorman was cool and I mean, I guess he had to be as he has direct contact with the customers, but beyond that, it was like I may as well been a fly on the wall.
A few people were helping out a random guy at the front counter who was having some sort of issue. There were about 7 or so people behind the counter. I think three people were helping him. The rest were just staring at the point of sale device as if it had sprouted legs and started tap dancing right there on the counter.
Now I'm not expecting everyone to drop what they are doing and help me out. I'm not entitled like that. A simple "Hey, we'll be right with you!" or "Are you picking up or placing an order?" or something to that effect would have gone a long way in this instance. Some type of acknowledgement would have great. I consider myself a pretty patient person, but I had just left the gym, I hadn't eaten all day, I have a child and a pregnant wife at home (who was blowing my phone up) expecting food. I didn't have all day to just stand there without being acknowledged.
This was my first time ordering here, so the lack of decent customer service is not a good way to win over new customers. That is very bad for business. I promptly left after about ten minutes of standing there waiting for them to sort out the issue with the guy. I probably would have stayed if ONE person said "We'll be with you in a minute! Sorry!" or something like that.
It seems like the only person that was working today that had some semblance of customer service skills was the doorman. I promptly left and took my hard earned cash elsewhere where they make me feel more like a valued customer.
So management, if you have two pizzas; one a large veggie with extra cheese and chicken, the other, a medium white pizza, you can go ahead and either pitch them or take them home. I won't be back to collect...
Read moreOur family has been a satisfied customer for some time. Generally get the Xtra Large New Yorker- which- with a salad- is enough to feed our small family. Last two takeouts have been less than satisfactory. Time before last- no cheese. Really. Last time- so greasy and saturated with oil that it was almost inedible. Called and spoke with manager this past Sat night. Explained our dissatisfaction of the last two pizzas. Gave him our tel # that he used to verify our previous orders did in fact occur and- told him that if he would split the price of our takeout pizza with us- we'd order it one more time- and if it was bad again- we were done. So after spending $55 on two previous pizzas and asking for an even split on another- which would cost the store $12.- to give them one more chance- I thought was more than fair. Its a shame that the ownership/ management of the restaurant is not empowered to satisfy a customer in a no- brainer situation (two strikes and the store is out policy) or- simply does not care enough about its customers- to right the store's wrongs. Did not ask for a free pizza- just an accommodation to make us feel we were valued and our business appreciated. Manager said best he could do was $6. off. Told him $12. was the number. He would not budge. What a Mickey Mouse operation. There use to be a time when service, loyalty, apologies and making a customer feel valued was part of life. It appears to me that this culture does not exist at this restaurant. As much as we have liked the food and the pizza- we will not be back. Like responsible Americans who receive shabby treatment- we will vote...
Read moreI did not have a very good friend and a client that order pizza here all the time. I just call my buddy's name V. He order pizza while I was doing some work at his house. The pizza was awesome just the way I liked my pizza it was the Manhattan pizza once and the New York pizza the next time and they both were awesome. I decided to call this place myself on the 16th of Nov. My experience was unbelievable. I called four times and four times the female that answer the phone hung the phone up me. After I told her what wanted to place an order. Well, I figured maybe they were busy. Well, I drove there. The place was not busy there were three tables occupied. After placing my order they told me 25 minutes. I gave the server three dollars for the tip and He told me he would bring my order out to my truck. I waited 35 minutes. I went in and I spoke to the manager ( Chip) and I told him what took place and that my order was past the time that I was told it would be ready and out to my truck where I was waiting. He didn't say sorry or anything of that nature. My pizza and my wings were cold and had no dressing or celery. To me, my buddy V may like this place or maybe it was because I am a Latino? That is why I was treated that way. I will not come here again or order anything from a place that can serve individually equally no matter what race they are eating here. that's is exactly Chip, The manager made me feel! They may have got good tasty food But the people that run this place let a bad taste in mine-mouth! My Grandparent always told me Don't judge a book...
