Meltaway is hands down one of the best local gems in Johns Creek. Everything here is made from scratch, and you can taste the care and creativity in every bite. Their ice cream ranges from traditional flavors that are perfectly done to unique creations that are just as delicious. But for me, the absolute star of the show is their Butter Cornflake cookie… it’s honestly the best cookie I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly buttery, crunchy, and addictive.. it’s my all time #1 favorite.

On top of the incredible treats, the owners are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They always greet us with smiles and make us feel like family every time we walk in. That warmth, combined with the quality of what they create, makes Meltaway so much more than just an ice cream parlor.. it’s a place you truly look forward to visiting.

I saw my neighbors on Nextdoor raving about this place so when I needed ice cream today I stopped by. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, explaining everything to me and encouraging me to try several samples of flavors! Everything I tried was delicious. It is so obvious they make everything in house and care about what they do. You could truly taste each unique flavor, not overpowered by sweetness! I got two scoops-one Earl Grey with cranberry and one Gooey Honey butter cake. I am particular about honey flavored things and this tasted wonderfully like HONEY and not just sugar.
