The workouts are always different and challenging, most importantly very effective. Thereās also always modifications you can do to the workouts based on your comfort/fitness/skill level. Everyone - trainers and other attendees - is very welcoming and supportive. Trainers care about good form which is key to not only a good work out but preventing injury. We especially love Cari!! She always demonstrates/explains the movements and workouts very well and cheers you on during the workout. Also always makes sure your form is good (again, this is key). I had always been a gym rat and athlete but have found more results with CrossFit in about 1/2 to 1/3 the amount of time spent working out, not to mention itās more fun than just going to the gym. As a result, I have lost 15 lbs since then, and have never felt healthier and happier in my life. The gym's atmosphere has made my daily hour of fitness the best part of my day. If you are in the area and want a challenging but fun workout every day, Mad Mare is the place to be.
Mad Mare is owned by a great owner and is run by a supportive staff. The patrons that attend workouts are incredibly supportive as well, and they welcomed me from the moment I entered the gym. The supportive nature of everyone truly makes the gym a community.
The gym is kept clean, organized, and well-supervised by awesome and professional trainers. Workouts are crafted daily to challenge each person but are always malleable enough to adjust to people's abilities and needs.
The gym memberships are flexible and reasonably priced. The student membership was incredibly appealing to me.
