McDonalds is a great overall restaurant for people who want to save money and want an endless amount of good quality food for the price they are paying. Although, the service and quality of the restaurant could be better, Id rather just go through drive threw anyways for a restaurant like McDonalds. Overall, McDonalds is the best all-around restaurant that offers a wide range of food for your every need and convenience to anybody’s liking. It is a wonderful restaurant based on its quality of food, customer service, location and cost efficiency. The quality of McDonalds has always been top tier, compared to all the other fast-food restaurants like burger king, Wendy’s and Zaxby’s . McDonalds has always dominated the space of upkeep within the facility and quality of the food consistently being hot and ready for consumption. Every time you step in the tables are nice and upkept the floor is polished and mop and most importantly the bathroom is always clean-smelling fresh every time you step into it. The Customer service of McDonalds is absolutely fantastic. The employees of the building all give great and consistent service with your order. They always tend to be patient and open minded about the things I could get on the menu, offering me discounts and more when I’m either in the drive thru or inside the actual building. The employees always keep the drive thru moving at a very well managed pace so that its not to long nor to short in your drive thru experience. The timing of the McDonalds in terms of how fast you can get your food is unfortunately sometimes inconsistent. Due to how amazing the food is, a lot of people come to the McDonalds by Hamilton mill because of that exact reason. Depending on the time, like for instance in the morning the lines can be pretty hectic because people are on their way to work getting the morning meals from McDonalds, I personally love to go in the afternoon time usually around 1-2 pm, but even still the McDonalds can still be very much crowed, and it can be frustrating at times, but, if you have patience, it shouldn’t be a huge problem. The Cost at McDonalds is a big plus for everyone who goes, McDonalds is super cost effective. Almost every meal on the menu is under 10-12 dollars is awesome, it saves a lot of money and because of quickly you can order your food it saves time as well it is an awesome investment to make if you are hungry and want something quick and cost efficient. Read moreThis restaurant has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I visited this facility with a family member at 4:15 A. M this morning to grab a quick breakfast in the drive thru. First off, they had an immature handwritten sign taped to their drive thru speaker, stating you must yell a rediculous phrase if you want your order to be taken. I ignored this and pulled forward to the window to place our order when no one would take our order at the speaker. I watched the truck in front of us give up on being waited on and drive off with no food after 5 minutes. Then we sat and waited at the window for approx another 5 minutes with no one bothering to even come to the window. There appeared to be at least two employees doing nothing but laughing and playing while blatantly ignoring all "would be"customers. Finally after I honked to get their attention ,one employee came to the window and was laughing as he asked if the other employee had taken our order. I stated no. He looked down and saw the credit card I was holding and said "cash only payments right now". I could hear and see the other employee peaking around the corner laughing. At this point I just drove off. This night shift really needs a grown up babysitter. They were beyond rude and immature and reflecting back, I'm glad we left with no food. Not a good experience and as petty as it sounds, this location has lost a customer over fries.
Mobile order and applied a deal for Fries and Drink. The order was missing the fries.
I let the associate know, he asked to see my receipt. I provided it then he spoke with someone and returned it back and said, "I do not have it on my system." I asked if he can provide and he said, "no, I am not authorized to." He then said I need to talk to the payment window to get it onto his order screen. (Which would mean going all the way back through drive thru process)
I instead went inside and the person at the front spoke with the same person and told me that I had to purchase fries to get onto the order. He said he sees my receipt but they only work from their system.
Other customers inside appeared frustrated so I think this is systemic to this location.
Coaching moment for ownership, empower your workers to use logic and not go by what the computer screen shows.
The interaction should have been, "sorry for the inconvenience and I also see that on your mobile order. I think the reason why it did not show is because of XYZ but let me go ahead and get those for you. On your next order you should do this to avoid this issue from reocurring."
But instead, got customer no service.
