On Monday 10/6 I was provided the worst service ever. For lunch around 1pm I purchased a $5 meal deal with a chicken sandwich, nuggets, fries, sweet tea.and an apple pie. My total was over $7. The order taker misunderstood my order. When I got to the window to pick up my food I checked my bag and I was provided with a chicken sandwich, nuggets and an apple. I told the lady at the window that I was missing my fries and my sweet tea. The lady got her manager because maybe she didn’t understand what happened. The manager asked for my receipt and my food bag. She said per the receipt I was charged for 6 piece nuggets and the $5 meal deal comes with a 4 piece nugget. She took the 6 piece nuggets out of my bag and gave me the 4 piece nuggets and rest of order. At this point I felt what a big deal. It’s 2 additional nuggets. It wasn’t my fault the order taker got my order wrong. She also then proceeded to tell me I owed $.80 more which was no problem but I could not believe that once the bag was handed to me and I touched the food that the manager would take the food back for 2 nuggets. I pray she trashed them and did not use them for someone else’s order because she made a big deal to let me know that I should have only received 4 nuggets versus 6. She replaced the 6 piece nuggets box with the 4 piece nuggets box. To me this is ridiculous and poor customer service for a fast food restaurant that makes millions of dollars to carry on like this. I feel it was very unsanitary for her to take the food back once it was touched all over by me and then she handled others food also. I know over my 40 plus years of my life I’ve given McDonald’s thousands of dollars and I felt at that moment my business was unappreciated and no apology was given for the misunderstanding of my order. I believe if I was a different race that I would have been provided better customer service. Read moreLet me just say that for the record, I’ve worked in fast food for yearssss. This being said i know if someone is actually busy or if they’re just being lazy/have an attitude. I came through the drive-thru today on my way to work and ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie and an egg white delight. I go up to the window and no ones there. I wait and a girl comes and asks if something was left off of my order. I say i haven’t gotten my food, she leaves. When she comes back she hands me my sandwich and a cup with the “smoothie.” It looked pale and as if they just blended ice with milk. Weird. I take a sip and it tastes off. So i sit there waiting to see if anyone will come and ask what’s wrong. I ended up having to go inside and ask them to remake it. When i ask, the manager or whatever she was (some older woman) had an attitude. I’m standing there for a while before i ask her how long it’s gonna take. She sucks her teeth at me and tells me the machine is being fixed. Why didn’t you say that in the first place?! I wait a few more minutes and the machine is still being fixed. The lady and staff looks very annoyed that I’m asking about the smoothie that i purchased. Finally i say I’d rather get a refund because I’m late for work. As soon as i try to get a refund, the smoothie magically appears and it’s worse than the initial smoothie. I say no i want a refund. They give me a partial refund even though the sandwich has been sitting in my car for a while. Whatever. I have been coming to this McDonald’s for a short amount of time out of necessity and usually they get everything right. Nonetheless, the nasty attitudes that the staff showed is a reason for me to never come back. I know it’s sucks to work in fast-food but if i was anybody else they would’ve got cursed out. Read moreCame to this restaurant for breakfast around 6:30 6:40 a.m. Not really busy at all about maybe one table seated dining room is pretty much empty there there is a line of five people at the register. To save time I decide to use the self order and check-in stations they've added at the McDonald's chains. Place my order for egg white breakfast and a coffee. Took the number for my order from the kiosk and sit at the table. They were supposed to bring the order out to my table instead I heard it called from the counter no big deal I went up and picked it up. The coffee was not made with your order and or was bagged as a to-go order. Mention my missing coffee to a couple of people who seem like they didn't know what I was talking about and can help me finally the lady who prepared I guess and called out my order notice me and I told her I needed a coffee no I'm sorry sir I apologize for that let me get that for you nothing she just grab my receipt at my hand looked at it said nothing hint give it back to me and went around the corner to make my coffee. Took several minutes to pour up a medium cup of coffee with cream and sugar, so I was nervous as to what she may have been doing to my coffee. She didn't seem too happy about me pointing out that they left it off the receipt. So got my order set down at the table dine-in as I planned.
