The only issue I have with this location is the manager, Madison. I will be taking my concern to corporate solely based on her unprofessional attitude/behavior that was displayed openly within the restaurant.
This was the first job for our 16 yr old daughter who could not attend a mandatory meeting due to a SAT prep course - which she forgot to inform her supervisor about. I do not have an issue with Madison letting her go, I get it and so does my daughter. However, my issue is with the unprofessional behavior and attitude of Madison and the way she handled the situation. Our daughter came in and worked for almost an hour before Maddison called her into the office to let her go. Why wasnāt she told before she came in that she was fired? If you canāt āfireā her over the phone, why allow her to clock in and āworkā knowing youāre going to let her go. Two wrongs donāt make a right. Further more, she has not been on the schedule for over a month and only came in today because someone asked her to cover their shift. I tried speaking with Madison concerning this and she became loud and argumentative (very unprofessional). I actually had to ask her several times to lower her voice as customers and hosts were standing around - which she did for about 5 seconds. Madison continued speaking very fast, loud, and incoherently before she stormed off and made a sarcastic remark. I was completely shocked that a āmanagerā would behave this way publicly. I absolutely LOVE Mellow Mushroom, Acworth, I been a loyal customer for YEARS! And I have never had an issue/experience like this with any of the waiters, host, and/or management. I am both disappointed and concerned that Madison is in a position of leadership. She is a poor example of a leader - especially for the number of young people who work there. Based on her demeanor, Iām certain she is not well received by the young teens who work under her and are too āafraidā to speak up. This is why I am taking my complaint...

My daughter and 2 of her coworkers decided to order cocktails to celebrate. They were refused the alcohol by the bartender. The Manager Trent also refused also backed this up by saying their ID had inconsistencies?? I have NEVER heard of an establishment looking at your ID for inconsistencies. My daughter also stated Trent was very rude and unprofessional with how he spoke to them. My daughter is well over the age to have a cocktail if she so chooses. How dare someone take that right away because of an assumption of what they āthink.ā These girls work a full time job and all they wanted was to unwind after a long work week. SMH! you never know what a person is dealing with and this could have went in a whole different direction. I will never step foot in this establishment. Her coworkers will find another place to spend their hard earned money next time they have a social gathering. I will also share this experience with friends, family and my social media following. 1st time: My wife ordered online. She received a phone call verifying her order because we have a NY number. My wife confirmed we moved from NY and they said okay. When she gets there, the associate told her they didn't make the order because we're from NY. This doesn't make sense since we weren't refunded. She had to wait for the order to be made. No apology, no discount, nothing.
2nd time: I ordered the Buffalo pizza with no Ranch swirl, but the online system forces you to choose ranch or blue cheese then you can select in another section "no ranch". When I arrive to the location the pizza had Bluecheese swirl. I had to wait for the order to be made. Again, no apology, no discount, nothing.
3rd time: Today I ordered the Buffalo pizza again, this time I selected "no blue cheese" and "no ranch" to prevent confusion. I received a phone call asking me to verify if I wanted sauce. I said no sauce as per the order. I received the pizza with no buffalo swirl AND no tomato sauce... I didn't say anything.. I'm done with your location. Fix your system!
