Mr Wonton — Restaurant in Georgia

Editing to add that we ordered online last night. I placed my order online and paid online. I was sent an email confirmation of my order with an estimated time to pick it up. When I arrived, I was soo impressed. They installed a new door so that you could just walk up and pick up your order. You don't even go in! Just tell them the order, and they slide it through a window that they slide open. They were wearing masks and gloves and I didn't feel like I was exposed the virus. Brilliant. Thank you, Mr Wonton. You are the first restaurant we have ordered from in 8 weeks and we will definitely be returning to your Marietta location as well as telling all our friends about the precautions you have put in place. Well done.

My family ordered take out from Mr Wonton for the first time last night. The online ordering wasn't working so we called in the order and they were kind on the phone. We ordered wonton soup (best I've had and I've already told my family that the next time I get sick, I'm sending them there for the wonton soup), pork egg rolls (good), lo mein (very tasty), house fried rice (excellent), and beef with broccoli. When I arrived to pick up my meal, they were apologetic about the online system not working and told me they are working in it. Maybe I picked the worst times to go, but originally this place had awesome food. About a year ago, I went to get some sesame chicken a little after lunch and it was like eating rubber. It tasted like they microwaved something that was just sitting around.

I figured maybe I picked a bad time or a bad day, so I went back a couple months later. This time I ordered multiple items. I ordered sesame chicken and noodles. The chicken was exactly the same and the noodles were bland and tasteless. Some of the noodles were even crunchy when they aren't supposed to be. I had to throw all of it away.

I tried to give it one more shot this year but the chicken is still the same. Why is your chicken so rubbery and hard to eat? It's like I'm eating nothing but tendons or something.

Well they were our go to for quick Chinese food night. But not after tonight. My wife ordered online and then drove there after work to pick it up. She got there, and found out they'd not even checked their online orders at all, apparently. Once they found the order, they then of course had to make it... well this isn't the quickest thing even for only 4 dinners... but in the end of it all, they show they've got zero customer service skills. the mess up was on their end, and they don't even offer to make it right. discount? credit for next time? Free soup? doesn't matter. Just hands the bag after an extra almost half an hour wait for the food.
