I've enjoyed lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch at Napoleons and the price has always been right....you see my son Sean Keenan is the owner and he always picks-up the tab. Other than fiduciary matters, I can say that Napoleons is always sparkling clean. Since, Sean was a little kid he has always been a "clean freak", when he was in college his fraternity buddies referred to him as "Cleanin Keenan". In addition he always attentive to detail, he likes to get the little things done right, the things that make for an enjoyable dining experience, in other words he's picky; I guess this comes from being an accounting major, and you know how those guys are. Sean learned early that it only costs a few cents more to go first class, so when it comes to quality menu ingredients Sean doesn't skimp, check out the Farm Salad (which you could have for an entrée) this $9.99 item could easily be $15 anywhere else. Instead of being a "Restaurateur" Sean could have been a politician because of his diplomatic, cheerful and friendly personality. This is likely why he surrounds himself with people of similar character, and as a result you'll be greeted and served with a smile by a very personable staff. After you enjoy Napoleons you may want to experience Sean's other restaurant Harbour House which is just down the road in Decatur. If that's not enough take a short ride to midtown and treat yourself to a fun time at Sean and Josh's "Front Page News". If it's more convenient for you, there's a "Front Page News" in Little Five Points which is adjacent to their south of the border sensational restaurant "Tijuana Garage" Take my word for it, even though I'm Sean's Dad, you will be satisfied at any of these great venues.    Read moreThis place is usually pretty good. Nice brunch or lunch spot. Sometimes they have live music, it’s a nice atmosphere. However the last few times I’ve been the services has been terrible. A few examples: One weekend, they brought our food but no silverware. We asked the food runner for some, she never came back. We asked the waiter for some, he never came back. Finally we just had to go to the hostess stand. This weekend was the worst and I think this might be the last visit here because of it. They are fairly crowded for brunch but there are about a dozen servers running around. All the empty tables were dirty and uncleared. The hostess had to clear one for us. Someone dropped water off at the table without a word. 15 minutes (honestly maybe more) a girl stopped at the table and asked if we had been helped. When we told her how long we had been waiting, she gave a blank look and said “okay so what can I get you?” When our order did come, it was wrong and cold. The waitress never came back to the table once. The food is decent here, but not worth the crappy service they have started offering.
Came here on a Friday night with the boyfriend for a date, the wait for an outside table wasn't too bad, so we went to the bar to order a drink. The inside decor is cool and and very "gastro pub-esque,"- the bar was pretty small as well, but we were able to get our orders and drinks out quickly.
We were seated shortly and was greeted by our server, he was not rude or short, but he did seem like he was in the weeds (I could tell because they had just double sat him with us and a large group of 9). I ordered the wedge salad (that was delicious) but my grouper sandwich fell short. So disappointed because the price did not prove to be worth the quality. My grouper was so flat that it barely had any flavor at all. The boyfriend ordered the philly cheese steak and it didn't really have a lot meat to it at all. We weren't terribly impressed with our options, but this is such a cute little spot that we intend on coming back and trying their...
