New Orleans Bay Seafood — Restaurant in Georgia

I wouldn’t waste my time buying food here! I bought 7 lbs of crawfish last night and got home to eat them with my family only to find they had not been washed before they were cooked... they were cooked with mud all on them and through them. My wife thought maybe they would still be same and tasted them just to confirm they tasted how they looked. So I attempted to call NEw Orleans Bay Seafood to attempt having them cooked with no answer. So I got up and called this morning at 10am spoke with Tommy (claimed to be the owners so) communicated my dis pleasure he agreed to remake them... that’s was great. However when I arrived he wasn’t there as he stated over the phone earlier that he would be all day... none the less the gentleman in the back came out stated we’ll honor it and took the 7lbs minus the 5or 6 we ate to taste... while waiting (about 25min) I see my re order is up but the owner is now present with my food. She goes to tell me it’s not mud on the crawfish but discoloration that made them black and they come like that and that’s how they look when they are cooked from a live state. I explained i’ve cooked live crawfish and the only time they look like that is when I didn’t clean them. She gets up set and yells she tired of talking to me and she will recook 4 lbs because she weighed them and that’s how much was in there when I returned them... I asked her why would I eat 3 lbs of food I fell was muddy? She yelled even more I stated just refund me the money because now I don’t want anything from here because one you’re trying to insult my intelligence as well as calling me a lair. She get made yelling in her native language and throws me my money... I walk out! So yes this is my negative review of this restaurant. This is the worst place to ever patronize. It took me 10 minutes to place an order because I explained explicitly what I wanted as far as the preference of my food as I cannot eat anything spicy. No spicy seasonings as far preference to heat was also placed on the order ticket. Yet when I received my food, took it home and took a bite of it I immediately felt the burn of the food in my chest and could have possibly had a heart attack because the food was extremely spicy as far as hot. I contacted the owner and I took the food back for her to remake my order over. The owner was extremely rude, spoke over me, cut me off, and then proceeds to tell me that she could not refund my money. I was trying to explain to her I did not want my money refunded I just wanted my food made over to replace the original order. Long story short... The owner ended up picking some crabs out of the freezer putting them in a bag and literally throwing the bag at me. And then proceeding to tell me that the water that she cooks/boils the food( crabs/shrimp/ veggies) in is seasoned with Cajun seasoning and spices.( I was never told this prior to ordering) Suffice it to say I will never return nor will I ever patronize her establishment. I normally go to t&k but they were closed so I decided to give this place a try. The oldest Hispanic guy took my order. My niece ordered right before me and got her order in an hour. I ordered simple things like wings and it took 2 hours to get my order. Like 30 ppl ordered after me but yet there was only 3 ppl left before closing when I finally got my order. The lady kept going back to check my order but kept filling other ppl order that came after me and never gave me a status. When I asked again, she finally said they were just now gonna cook my order. When I initially asked the dude, he said it wasn’t ready and then said he didn’t know when it would be ready and started taking someone else’s order. I was nothing but respectful to them but yet I felt disrespected and ignored even with a 4 week old baby crying. They did not care. They kept moving my order to the back. I finally got my order and got no apologies. They could have at least told me their wait times are that long or either they missed my order. Oh yeah, I couldn’t get a refund cuz there are no refunds on ebt. I will never eat there again! They don’t care about their customers and they need to season their food. T&k is way better and they appreciate their customers and treat them...
