UPDATE: As they now have online ordering, everything runs much smoother and overall I believe the sandwiches are better as a result. I don't know about anyone else, but I prefer not to watch my sandwich being made.
You other reviewers have eaten there, right? I live nearby, and because of how close I live to this subway, I will go back there again after long periods have elapsed, each time vowing never to return. Out of convenience, I went there again today, and was subject to the man behind the counter's bullying tactics when trying to order a sandwich. My wife agrees, these people (no matter who is serving you) are either stupid, incompetent, or they just don't care. They basically just want to make the sandwich their way, and push things in that direction. Possibly because they seem to struggle with taking direction (in a Subway? That's what it's supposed to be all about.) In any case, they seldom do what you ask them to do in terms of adding ingredients or condiments (like a little sandwich with that mayo?) If you ask them to do something a little out of the ordinary, like cooking the raw bacon that he was about to put on my sandwich, the insecure expressions and confounded actions would almost be hilarious if it wasn't about something that you were hoping to eat at some point. I've eaten at Subways all over the Metro Atl area; this place is the worst one hands down. And wouldn't you know it, they operate right near where I live. These folks somehow managed to buy a franchise where the operation is all laid out for you, and you're obviously trained on how to go about running it. Alas, they are not sandwich...
Read moreOur visit started off great. The young man working there was very friendly and attentive to what we wanted. Unfortunately the older man who was outside sitting around and not working came in and ruined our experience. Not sure if this was the owner or manager but he pushed the younger gentleman to start an order behind us and took over our order halfway through, he was not personable and he started rushing through everything and not paying attention. We had to say things multiple times for him to listen. When we ordered our large meal and went to check out we told him about our coupon which we had mentioned at the beginning of our order to the younger gentleman. He wouldn’t honor it and took no action to help. After receiving payment he decided to make a smart comment to my husband about the sign to mention it at the beginning. We had. If he had any customer service he would’ve resolved it instead of just throwing his hands up and not caring. We will not be back. Read moreNever had an issue with this subway before we actually love it but tonight was different. As I was paying their system crashed. I wasn’t upset we just waited for it to reboot well the system said I hadn’t payed but the gift cards I was using had been charged. I had plenty of money on them. When I informed the employee he looked at me and said “hmmm tragic” in a rude tone. I was taken aback and asked what he wanted to do. He said I can pay in cash or card??
